What's in my... Travel Makeup Bag

This is my Travel Makeup Bag that will be in my Carry on/Purse throughout the trip (if you didn't see that post click here), in here I have...
  • Trade Secret Pallet, this has eyeshadow blush bronzer and lipgloss in it, so it is just a good compact pallet for travel
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
  • Kabuki Brush
  • Hard Candy Gold Eyeliner, this always stays in my makeup bag so I just left it there
  • White Eyeliner, for your waterline to make you look more awake and alive
  • Hard Candy Concealer Pencil, in case I rub off any of my makeup while I am sleeping in the car, it isn't my favorite concealer but I leave it in this bag because it's small
  • Mascara, because I probably won't put any on the morning we leave
  • Travel Makeup Brush, it looks like a lipstick, but when you roll it up it is a blush brush!
  • Eyelash Curler
  • Pineapple Juice Lipgloss from Bath and Body Works
  • Bert's Bees Lifeguard Chapstick
  • Bert's Bees Mango Butter Chapstick
  • Maybelline Baby Lips Melon Mania
  • Aquphor Lip Repair
  • A Mirror
  • Paper Soap, I know. It's a little weird, but its cute and fun to have around!
  • Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets, because i get soooooo oily! 
  • Bobby Pins, because you can never have enough Bobby Pins!
  • Hairbow Elastics
  • An Extra Contact in case one of mine rip or fall out
  • A Nail File
  • Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizer
  • Bath and Body Works Butterfly Flower Hand Cream

Be Mine... Kissable Lip Routine

I thought this was a kind of unique post, but also a great way to kick off Beach Babe's Be Maine Valentine's Day Series! I mean, you can't have a Valentines Day without soft kissable lips! Even if you don't have a Valentine this year, you don't want to be caught by surprise! ;) First thing i do (and the very first thing you all should do!) is start out by exfoliating your lips! Before I use a Lip Scrub, I run warm water over a washcloth, wring it out, and rub my lips with this. Next I take a lip scrub (if you would like to know what I use check out this link here, but any kind you prefer will work). I use the washcloth on my lips first so that they will be more open to absorb the benefits of the Scrub. Lastly, I apply some of the lip scrub to a clean toothbrush and use this on my lips. Emergency Kit For Girls

So we have all had that moment where the zipper on your jeans break, or the back of your earring falls, off but of course you have nothing to fix this problem, so what do you do? I have created my very own emergency kit that covers all of the things I could think of that I would need! Here is the little bag I fit it all in... Safety Pins in case a strap breaks Earring Backs in case you lose one Small Hairbands/Rubber Bands Bobby Pins I pack them like this in this little bag for easy access An extra contact in case one falls out or rips (If applicable) Oil Blotting Sheets Once again, easy access A few dollers Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, any legal over the counter pain reliever  Band-aids for cuts and Blisters A pad or tampon in case of a "surprise" Chapstick or Lipgloss A nail file and a small bottle of clear fingernail polish for a quick fix on cuts or nails Hair-b...

Apartment Tour + Fall Decor!

It's coming a bit late, because by this point I have Christmas decor up, but why not?  It isn't December yet, and I loved my fall decor and wanted to show it off! Entrance and "Dining Room" We did our best to section off the living room/dining room/kitchen area so it had a house feel that trashy college apartment.  We also tried to add all the things we could to make it feel more bright and homey since only one piece of furniture in here is actually ours!  The rest was provided for us. So for the dining are my roommate who replaced her desk chair with a comfy version brought out her chair so we could have 5 seats.  We then added cute placemats which stay out year round For fall decor I added the glittery leaf centerpiece and a few candles, as well as the wine bottles!
