Best Beach Ever!

So... I am debating on if I should even share this with you because it is so amazing! This is the most absolutely amazing beach I have ever been to in my life! It is Emerald Isle NC it is perfect! 
So in my mind it is so perfect because:

  • It is on the beautiful coast of North Carolina (which is where I live, and where I love!)
  • It's name is Emerald ISLE so its on a cute little island (Duh!), at some places o the island you can see the Bogue Sound (yes this is a body of water, and yes this is a real place) and the Atlantic Ocean on the other
  • It is a quite little town so everyone if friendly, and the beaches are never crowded
  • There is a nice little aquarium just up the island a bit
  • The is a little shopping center called Emerald Plantations that includes a movie theater, restaurants, shops, and a river where you can feed Sea Turtles (this is especially fun because there's one that is bigger than my six year old brother! It lives at the bottom and only comes up occasionally though.)
  • The other beaches beside it are close enough to drive up to and take advantages of their restaurants and shops to.

    I'd love to see some pictures of it that you made! have you ever been to Europe?

      I personally have never been out of the US sadly, but my parents have been to the Bahamas, and my grandfather to Italy. Since I got my new camera (and new laptop) I haven't been to Emerald Isle, but I have been to a beach close to it on a school trip and would be happy to post them at the first opportunity (the pic above is off of the internet but it is of Emerald Isle). I am also going back in a few months and will post some more then. Thanks for joining and for commenting by the way!

Girls Night In!

Time to unwind with a girls night!  If you are like me and my adorable roomie, you just completed a week of mind numbing midterms and you need to unwind.   Priority number one is getting into the comfiest possible clothes that you own, bonus points if you have super cute matching pjs unlike me... Apartment Tour + Fall Decor!

It's coming a bit late, because by this point I have Christmas decor up, but why not?  It isn't December yet, and I loved my fall decor and wanted to show it off! Entrance and "Dining Room" We did our best to section off the living room/dining room/kitchen area so it had a house feel that trashy college apartment.  We also tried to add all the things we could to make it feel more bright and homey since only one piece of furniture in here is actually ours!  The rest was provided for us. So for the dining are my roommate who replaced her desk chair with a comfy version brought out her chair so we could have 5 seats.  We then added cute placemats which stay out year round For fall decor I added the glittery leaf centerpiece and a few candles, as well as the wine bottles! Degusta Box: October

I hadn't ever heard of this subscription box until I received an email about a promotion they were having.  This is a $19.99 subscription box, but they were offering a special discount for $6.99 plus two free gifts!  I figured, why not give it a try? It came in a HUGE heavy box!  Inside it was wrapped with a cute little sticker, and everything even moderately breakable was packaged in bubble wrap.  I was immediately impressed.   I thought I'd show the two sweet little extra gifts they sent me first... You can't tell as much in this picture, but this is a quite large bag of mini cow tales!  They also sent me a bag of Haribo sour gummy bears.  I am not a big Haribo fan, but these seem similar to Sour Patch Kids, which I love, so maybe they will be good!  I can't really complain too much anyway since they were a free gift with the box!  And candy!
