Ipsy: October

I know I'm a little late to the party with this one, but I'm trying! The theme of the October bag was Spellbound.  I love that they are doing these little cards now!  I can't really say the products in the bag match the theme, but the bag definitely does! And here is my overview for the month! The first product is probably the thing I find most underwhelming, and it is the Marc Anthony Coconut Oil and Shea Butter hair oil.  I get hair oils from Ipsy all the time it seems like, and I always tell them I don't like them and not to send anymore, but whatever.  It isn't that this product is bad, I have some other things from this brand and it is good, but I just really don't need, want, or use hair oils. Next is the Tarte Lifted Sweatproof Mascara.  My first thought was how different tis packaging looks from most mascaras and how well this is going to stand out in stores!  It is bold and bright whereas most bottles are in blacks or darker c...

Dorm Life VoxBox

I got another VoxBox from Influenster!  This is a company that sends complementary products to a group of people in exchange for reviews and posts about them.  So this is sponsored in a way, but all opinions are 100% true and my own!  If you want to see allllll of my sponsored posts then check out my Instagram , because they are coming!  I am @bethanyallen15. This is called the #DormLife VoxBox and it is themed around all the different kinds of things a college girl might want or need! Look at all of the stuff in this box!  It is packed to the brim, and with a large variety of things, so let's get into it. This is the Not Your Mother's Naturals Tapioca and Rice Dry Shampoo.  I loooove dry shampoo and use it on the daily, but personally, I am very loyal to Batiste brand.  I have tried a couple others and not really been impressed, but Not Your Mother's is usually a very nice brand, so I was super excited to give this a shot. ...

Second Year Empties: Hair

Shampoo and Conditioner These are the Herbal Essences Naked Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner.  I bought this set, along with the mousse and dry shampoo in the same line to start me out last year.  I liked them decently, but they weren't my favorite.  They had an odd smell and were a bit drying.  They weren't the worst, but I wouldn't repurchase. These are the rest of the conditioners I finished this year!  I use a lot of conditioner... This is Aussie Mega Moist conditioner, and this is the type of conditioner I need!  It was thick and very moisturizing, and exactly what my long hair needs when it is being dried out by "city water," since I am used to mountain water with no chemicals.  I would repurchase this. In this middle is the Bath and Body Works Volumizing Conditioner in the scent Warm Vanilla Sugar.  I have had this so long that I'm not even sure Bath and Body Works sells shampoo and conditioner anymore!  I'm not t...

Walmart Box: Summer

Walmart box time! It is always fun receiving this cheap quarterly box!  This wasn't even close to my favorite of the ones I have received in the past, but for $5 I think I can make the sacrifice every three months, and I still had a few good finds! The first thing I pulled out of my box were these Eco Tools Mask Remover Sponges.   I have actually never seen a product like this before and I am excited to try them out!   Most of my brushes are Eco Tools brand and their products as a whole are awesome, so I have high expectations for these!   I hope they work! These are the imPress Press-on Manicure nails.  I have longer nails, so I never buy into the acrylics or gel or anything.  These ended up on a swap site and were actually snapped up pretty quick, so I'm not mad about it! This is the Got2b Ultra Glued Styling Gel.  Gel isn't my thing, but my middle school brother is obsessed, as most of them are.  So I can promise ...

Target Beauty Box: June

So back in June I decided to try out my first ever Target Beauty Box!  I keep an eye out each time they are released and I always debate if I should get one or not, but this one really looked up my ally! So I figured hey, I can spare $7! It comes in the standard basic white box, which I'm sure you are all familiar with. This is the Masque Bar Soothing Sheet Mask.  It is supposed to moisturize, soften, and nourish your skin. Personally I am not a huge fan of sheet masks, I like cream better, but my mom has been wanting to try one out. So this went to her! I don't see that as a loss because I still wouldn't have been upset with it is I'd had to keep it. This is the Schick HydroSilk Razor.  I love that most of my Razors come from Subscription boxes at this point!  Razors can be so expensive, this helps a ton!  I haven't opened this one up yet and am considering leaving it packaged up to take it to school with me, but I generally love the razors wit...

Walmart Box: Spring

Out of school and back to Wednesday posts!  And we are kicking off this extra posting day with... The new Spring Walmart Box!  I know I always post these pretty late, and I don't know why, because I really do love them!  And for $5?  You really can't beat it! This is the Dove Advanced Care deodorant in a scent very similar to the cucumber scent that everyone used to be crazy over in the 90s... I was sick of it then, but it was kind of nice to have a little throwback sample!  I've used the heck out of it and it has held up well! This is the Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Ultra Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner.  It is made to intensely hydrate and soften hair.  I am always looking for new baby shampoo and conditioners to take with me on trips! This is the Bioré Baking Soda Acne Scrub.  At some other point I had received the pore cleansing scrub, and I am very interested in what the difference is, if there is one.  What I most...
