Ipsy: October

I know I'm a little late to the party with this one, but I'm trying!

The theme of the October bag was Spellbound.  I love that they are doing these little cards now!  I can't really say the products in the bag match the theme, but the bag definitely does!

And here is my overview for the month!

The first product is probably the thing I find most underwhelming, and it is the Marc Anthony Coconut Oil and Shea Butter hair oil.  I get hair oils from Ipsy all the time it seems like, and I always tell them I don't like them and not to send anymore, but whatever.  It isn't that this product is bad, I have some other things from this brand and it is good, but I just really don't need, want, or use hair oils.

Next is the Tarte Lifted Sweatproof Mascara.  My first thought was how different tis packaging looks from most mascaras and how well this is going to stand out in stores!  It is bold and bright whereas most bottles are in blacks or darker colors it seems like.  My next thought was that I wish I had a trip to Disney planned so I would have a good reason to try out its sweatproof effectiveness!  This is such a cool idea, and though I haven't yet opened the bottle because I have many others open and I don't want this one to go bad, I am excited to try it out!!

This is the MDMFlow liquid matte lipstick in Retro.  Though I don't know the brand, which is always a bit disappointing, I do love lipstick!  This is a more summer-y pink shade than I would expect in a "Spellbound" bag, but it is a pretty color with a nice consistency, so I'm not mad at it!

This is a Dirty Little Secret single eyeshadow in the color Bronzed.

Here is a swatch because you couldn't see the color too great in the package.  It is a nice color, but nothing really special or unique.  Once again, though DLS isn't an exciting brand for me, I have had some products of theirs in the past that were quite nice, so this is ok.

And finally, this is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion.  I am so back and forth about this product!  I am excited to try such a well known and raved about product, and Urban Decay is an awesome brand, but I have so many black eyeliners!  Oh well, I shouldn't be complaining.  It is always an exciting day when Urban Decay is included!

Sunburn Relief

Even when you wear sunscreen, sometimes the inevitable happens and you get the dreaded sunburn... So what should you do? I have a few suggestions of the best way to be as comfortable as possible while you recover! 1.) Pain Reliever First things first, as soon as you discover your sunburn head to the medicine cabinet and take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as Ibuprofen or Advil. These are anti-inflammatory medications which will help to reduce swelling and pressure from the sunburn, which will relive  some of the pain. 2.) Hydrate The second most helpful thing you can possibly do is drink water! The sun has sucked all of the moisture from your skin, and it is literally  begging for you to replenish it. Try to drink just water, since it is better for you and more hydrating than juice or sodas. 3.) Take a Bath Try to limit yourself to no more that 30 minutes, but that thirty minutes can do wonders for your...
