Outer Banks 2013: Day 9, Saturday June 15th

6:00 AM
We woke up early this morning so me and mom could walk down to the beach and watch the sunrise :)

7:00 AM
Just got back :) we found a lot of really pretty seashells and watched the sunrise behind buildings/over the water ;)

Now we are getting ready to leave and finishing up our repacking. I got most of my stuff packed up last night, but I have a few things left. I just had breakfast, a Krispy Kreme Doughnut again :)

9:00 AM
Finished packing any getting ready, we just loaded the car, and we are now ready to go! We are on our way up the Outer Banks today, but first we are going to stop off at Emerald Plantation again :)

11:00 AM
We just left Emerald Plantation, and now we are on our way off the Island :( We are heading up the coast to the Roanoke Aquarium, and then on over the Kill Devil Hills to stay a few nights!

4:00 PM
Well instead of going straight to Kill Devil Hills, we ended up stopping at a shopping center in Morehead city... Which kind of messes up our plans to go to the Aquarium today, but who cares! I got to go shopping :) We went to Ross and TJ-Maxx, and then I found an Ulta and I used the rest of an old gift card, and of course we had to hit up a Walmart while we were there! ;) We let my little brother pick where to have lunch, so we ended up at a McDonalds -_-

7:00 PM
At this moment we are driving throught Kill Devil Hills and Nags head looking for our hotel, and I am hungry! ;) I have read and slept for four hours and I am ready to get out of this car and do something! :)

9:00 PM
We ended up eating at Applebees, which was good :) Me and mom shared a three way sampler platter. It had Spinach Dip, Quezon Dip, and Cheeseburger Sliders. This is the first night that we ordered a dessert and ohhhhh my gosh! It was so good! It was Cheesecake filled fried tortillas that had been rolled in cinnamon sugar, and served with cooked apple and ice cream... We ordered it to share but I could have eaten the whole thing by myself!!

11:00 PM
We are back at our hotel and we are all tukered out! The hotel is nice, just a basic hotel room :) well I think I am going to bed... 'night guys! :)

Review: Etsy Planner Stickers!

I decided back at the beginning of November to reach out to a few Etsy planner sticker shops in hopes that they would like to partner up with me for a review!  There were a few shops that truly stood out to me, which sent me stickers, and I have been truly enjoying using them!  Though the shops did send me these stickers for free, the opinions are completely my own. Lilly Top This sticker package was from Lilly Top.  She sent me five full sheets (from left to right): The New Year Party stickers , Spring stickers , Build a Tree Christmas stickers , Heart Check Marks in Solid Colors , and the Notebook Stickers with words .  She also sent me her small winter sampler with a ton of cute Christmas-y designs, and a small two sticker sample of more of the notebooks.  Overall, I have really enjoyed her stickers!  They have a nice matte look, so they are easy to write on.  I also noticed that if you are willing to pay a bit more, she will make certain s...

St. Ives Influenster VoxBox

Good news, I received another Influenster VoxBox!! This was a Holiday campaign following New Years, and was sponsored by St. Ives.  Now as always, I did receive these products for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are completely my own! Oatmeal Scrub and Mask If you are used to their ever popular Apricot Scrub, this is quite a different experience.  Where the Apricot Scrub has large abrasive pieces, the Oatmeal Scrub has smaller and gentler pieces, but significantly more of them.  This also has a much thicker and stickier consistency, with a smell that is reminiscent of sunscreen.  The way I chose to use this was as a mask.  I applied a generous amount to my face, rubbing in circular motions, making sure it was fully scrubbed and evenly covered.  The bottle recommends letting it soak in for 5-7 minutes.  After the lime elapsed, I put some water on my fingers and rewet the mask, scrubbing in circular motions once again, and then rinsed! ...

Book of the Month: January

Have you all ever heard of Book of the Month Club?  It is a subscription box unlike any other one I've seen!  Instead of makeup, food, or home goods like most boxes, you get to pick a book to have sent to you every month!  It is the perfect thing for bookworms like me! This subscription is only $16.99 per month, and you can choose to skip a month at any time if the five options they are offering do not appeal to you.  But here is the catch, today is the last day of their Galentine's sale they are offering through the blog My Subscription Addiction (love that place!).  So if you use the code MSABOOKLOVER you can get a three month subscription for only $29.97 (normally $44.97) along with a Book of the Moth tote bag and free credit for an extra book ($9.99 value)!  So you are getting four books for only about $30, which is less than you could get them in a bookstore, and are saving $25 over what you would pay for a normal subscription!  I highly ...
