What's in my... Makeup Bag

I would just like to let you all know that I am packing for a 12 day trip, so for some of you this might not be enough, for some it may be to much. I don't wear all of this every single day, but I do like options. I would also like you to know that we are going to be driving everywhere on this vacation, so to an extent I don't have to worry about how much I pack or the sizes of my products.
If you would like to see a collective list of everything I am bringing on my trip, click here

And now here is how everything is packed!

My Brush Roll

This is the pocket on the right side of the bag. In here I keep my Eyebrow/Eyelash Brush and my Face Brushes, except for my kabuki brush which will probably be in my travel makeup bag in my purse (click here if you want to see what is in my travel makeup bag!). There is a flap above that I will fold down to protect my brushes.

This is the middle pocket that zips up, and is also detachable. In here I keep all of my Eye Brushes, and all of my Pencil Eyeliners so I will have them at easy access. I am going to tape all of the lids closed on my pencil eyeliners so they dont fall off and ruin everything else.

This is the pocket on the left and it also zips up. In here I just keep some different tools like an Eyelash Curler, Tweezers, and an Eyeliner Sharpener.

And here is the Brush Roll all rolled up and ready to pack!

The Actual Makeup Bag
Here is the picture from the beginning again. On the left I try to stack the flat powders and things like that. Right beside that my Foundation Powder fits perfectly. Any Liquids I put in a  plastic sandwich bag in case they leak. Everything else is just kind of haphazardly piled on top :)

And this is the finished bag! I just put my Brush Roll on top of all the makeup to cushion it and then zip it all up!
And that's it!

Review: Etsy Planner Stickers!

I decided back at the beginning of November to reach out to a few Etsy planner sticker shops in hopes that they would like to partner up with me for a review!  There were a few shops that truly stood out to me, which sent me stickers, and I have been truly enjoying using them!  Though the shops did send me these stickers for free, the opinions are completely my own. Lilly Top This sticker package was from Lilly Top.  She sent me five full sheets (from left to right): The New Year Party stickers , Spring stickers , Build a Tree Christmas stickers , Heart Check Marks in Solid Colors , and the Notebook Stickers with words .  She also sent me her small winter sampler with a ton of cute Christmas-y designs, and a small two sticker sample of more of the notebooks.  Overall, I have really enjoyed her stickers!  They have a nice matte look, so they are easy to write on.  I also noticed that if you are willing to pay a bit more, she will make certain s...

St. Ives Influenster VoxBox

Good news, I received another Influenster VoxBox!! This was a Holiday campaign following New Years, and was sponsored by St. Ives.  Now as always, I did receive these products for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are completely my own! Oatmeal Scrub and Mask If you are used to their ever popular Apricot Scrub, this is quite a different experience.  Where the Apricot Scrub has large abrasive pieces, the Oatmeal Scrub has smaller and gentler pieces, but significantly more of them.  This also has a much thicker and stickier consistency, with a smell that is reminiscent of sunscreen.  The way I chose to use this was as a mask.  I applied a generous amount to my face, rubbing in circular motions, making sure it was fully scrubbed and evenly covered.  The bottle recommends letting it soak in for 5-7 minutes.  After the lime elapsed, I put some water on my fingers and rewet the mask, scrubbing in circular motions once again, and then rinsed! ...

Let's Talk...

I feel so bad, I have been such a flake with posting recently and the past month is when I should have been really focused on getting out content, because.... My summer classes started this week. And they are intense. Like, more so than I expected and I'm only a week in. Also, I just got my Summer schedule for the daycare I work at, and instead of my normal 9:30-5:30, I was switched to  6:00-12:30 ...  That is a huge difference, I've never gotten up that early in my life!  It is a lot better in some ways because I now have my full days free, but it's a difficult sleep schedule to get used to.   As a result, I've been spending my mornings at work, and my evenings doing homework, or attempting to have a social life...  This is my last Summer before college after all, so I want to have fun!  But it just makes things more difficult when I need to be in bed early for work, balance homework, and then there is this blog. I love having this...
