Berry Lipstain

Ingredients:
Blackberries (for their bright berry color)
1 Raspberry (for its feminine pink color)
3 Pomegranate Seeds (for their vibrant red color)
1/2 teaspoon edible oil (I used Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
 A Small Bowl and Spoon
A Fork or Sifter to drain
A Small Pot or Jar with screw top

STEP 1: Mash the blackberries and raspberry in the bowl completely with the back of your spoon.
STEP 2: Add the pomegranate juice into the mixture by individually squeezing them between your thumb and index fingers over the bowl.
STEP 3: Pour the olive oil into the bowl and stir everything together with your spoon.
STEP 4: Finish by draining the liquid from the mixture into your small jar.
Use your fingers, a lip brush, or a Q-tip for application. It’ll only be good for a few days so refrigerate it for longevity and use it quickly!
Have fun with it and even try different fruit combinations!

Homemade Beauty... Soothing Foot Spa

As I have done for the past few months, the first Monday of this month is going to be a "Homemade Beauty" post, and then on Wednesday I will get up my "What I did this month" post! I thought after all of the stress of the holidays, I thought this might be just the thing you all needed! You Will Need: Epsom salt essential oil of your choice Directions: To tell the truth, this is actually pretty simple! Add your epsom salts and a few drops of essential oils to your foot bath. Soak for up to 20 minutes! :)

Homemade Beauty: Greek Yogurt Mask

Ingredients: Cotton Balls Probiotic Capsule Cold Plain Greek Yogurt How To: Split open the probiotic capsule and mix it into 3 or 4 tablespoons of Greek yogurt in a small bowl. Using a cotton ball, apply the mixture to your face in an even layer. Let the mask set for 10 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel.  Greek yogurt contains lactose enzymes which dissolve dirt and nourish your skin, while the probiotic invigorates your skin leaving it with a healthy glow. This combination also helps to reduce redness and calm breakouts.

Be Mine... Kissable Lip Routine

I thought this was a kind of unique post, but also a great way to kick off Beach Babe's Be Maine Valentine's Day Series! I mean, you can't have a Valentines Day without soft kissable lips! Even if you don't have a Valentine this year, you don't want to be caught by surprise! ;) First thing i do (and the very first thing you all should do!) is start out by exfoliating your lips! Before I use a Lip Scrub, I run warm water over a washcloth, wring it out, and rub my lips with this. Next I take a lip scrub (if you would like to know what I use check out this link here, but any kind you prefer will work). I use the washcloth on my lips first so that they will be more open to absorb the benefits of the Scrub. Lastly, I apply some of the lip scrub to a clean toothbrush and use this on my lips. Grab the washcloth once again and wipe the scrub and crystals away! :) The next thing you should do in your kissable lips routine, is apply a lip balm. My favorites are the eos
