Homemade Beauty... Banana Sugar Body Scrub

You will need...

1 ripe banana

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract or your favorite essential oil (optional)

Smash ingredients together with a fork into a chunky goop, but don't over-mash or it will become too thin to use. If you want a banana scrub for your face, reserve some of the banana and mash it separately without sugar. In the shower, pat the sugar mixture and gently massage over your body. For your face, gently massage plain banana there, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off with warm water.

Thanksgiving Outfits!

Usually on Thanks giving I end up wearing a t-shirt and jeans because I have been cooking all day, and because it is just my family! So, I have done some (meaning way too much) shopping recently, and I thought it might be fun to let you all in on some of the purchases I have made that are slightly atypical for me! College Countdown: Basic College Packing List

In this list I'm not going to go over every single thing. Throughout this week I will do separate posts on Clothing and Makeup etc. On Saturday of this week I will post a concise version of this including everything mentioned. For now I would just like to go over basics such as kitchen items, "school supplies" and other items you may not have thought of! Kitchen These are basics that you might need if you are in a dorm and do not necessarily have a kitchen. I will have a sink, so it will be doable for me to wash dishes as needed.
