College Countdown: Packing Makeup and Toilitries

Makeup
So this is where I keep all of my Makeup!  It was a basic small five drawer set with clear drawers from Walmart, and then I took tacky paper which I got from the dollar bin at Target and washi tape and decorated it!  I plan to label the drawers with chalkboard labels, but I have bad handwriting so I decided to wait and lett someone else write on them...

The top drawer is my most accessed face base products drawer!

    • Primer
    • Full Coverage Foundation
    • Lighter Coverage BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer
    • Under Eye Concealer

In the back of my desk organizer I keep my letter organizer with my eyeshadow palletes
  • Eyeshadow
    • Eye Primer
    • Palletes - I suggest bringing primarily your favorite pallete, such as my Naked 3, instead of dealing with the clutter of single eyeshadows (even though I brought a few of those too...)
    • Cream Eyeshadow
This is my cluttered drawer with my eyeliner, mascara, and single eyeshadows
  • Eyeliner - These are just suggestions of things I use often, you obviously bring whatever works for you
    • Brown Pencil
    • Black Pencil
    • Liquid/Gel Eyeliner
    • Colorful - Something fun!
    • White - For the waterline
  • Mascara - I always bring much too much mascara... Maybe limit yourself to a waterproof and non-waterproof
My favorite drawer!
  • Lips - Bring a good mix
    • Lip balm
    • Lipgloss
    • Lipstick
  • Tools
    • Bronzer Brushes

My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website....

Homemade Beauty... Banana Mask

Bananas, which contain vitamins A and E, are great for treating the flakiness and redness that caused by the cold winter air. The heavy cream in this mask also contains elastin, which will leave your skin feeling soft and supple. You Will Need: 1 Banana mashed well 2 Tablespoons heavy cream 1.5 Tablespoon honey 1.5 Tablespoon flour 1 Tablespoon of water Mix this into a nice mousse. Add the water last—a little at a time to get a nice consistency. Apply to the face; leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse. Homemade Beauty... Milk Bath

Do you have some milk in you fridge that is about to expire? Instead of just letting it sit there how about you put it to use! You will need... The milk that is about to expire A few drops of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Directions: Draw a bath and add the milk and olive oil.   Milk is a natural moisturizer  that can do wonders for your skin, and the olive oil will make your skin super soft. Another option is to add add the milk and olive oil combo to a bowl with warm water to soak your hands or feet before giving yourself a  DIY manicure  or pedicure.
