Ipsy: July

The bag this moth is so cute!  It has  little beach umbrellas all over it!  And what came in it was no joke either!

The first thing I got was a flat shader brush from Vasanti.  It is a very nice brush, and very soft, I am just getting a little tired of being sent this type of brush... I have plenty now.

This Makeup Forever Mascara is probably my favorite item I've gotten out of a bag thus far!  It doesn't move, at all.  I wore it for 18 hour days in the hot sun and water rides of Disney World and it stayed perfect!  Not only that, it makes your eyelashes look amazing, I highly recommend this.

This is a single eyeshadow from The Balm cosmetics in Matt Moskowitz.   It is a very pretty color, has great staying power, and the packaging is adorable!

I was truthfully pretty unhappy about this...  It is the Eve-NYC Get Glossed Hair Serum.  I just got a hair oil from them last month and gave it very bad reviews because I don't use hair oil often... So they send another.  It smells good and does it's job, it's just not for me.

Ok... I kind of cheated with this one.  I was sent the OFRA cosmetics lip liner, and I don't use lipliner,so I traded with my friend for this Shray Ms. Amazing paper face mask.  I haven't tried it yet, but I like it better than a lip liner and I am excited to give it a shot!

Over all (not counting what I traded) I liked all but one product in this bag a lot!  Now be prepared... August is my final month :(

Let's Talk...

I feel so bad, I have been such a flake with posting recently and the past month is when I should have been really focused on getting out content, because.... My summer classes started this week. And they are intense. Like, more so than I expected and I'm only a week in. Also, I just got my Summer schedule for the daycare I work at, and instead of my normal 9:30-5:30, I was switched to  6:00-12:30 ...  That is a huge difference, I've never gotten up that early in my life!  It is a lot better in some ways because I now have my full days free, but it's a difficult sleep schedule to get used to.   As a result, I've been spending my mornings at work, and my evenings doing homework, or attempting to have a social life...  This is my last Summer before college after all, so I want to have fun!  But it just makes things more difficult when I need to be in bed early for work, balance homework, and then there is this blog. I love having this...

Disney 2014: Days 6-7

It is officially one month until I leave for Disney!  So in honor of that I thought I would do as I did in my original Disney Announcement  and give you a sneak peek into my trip from last year in preparation for this one! Disney 2014: Day 6 9:15 a.m. Magic Kingdom is hard to get into... so we just now got in.   You have to take a tram from the parking lot, a boat from the ticket center, and then go through the bag check! It is a solid 30 minute process! This morning for breakfast I has one Hot Fudge Sundae pop-tart, and one Strawberry (me and Elijah traded!) Today I am wearing pink mesh Danskin shorts with a black Mickey Mouse tank-top, sequin Minnie Mouse ears, Tiva sandals, and my Magic band, with a Tinker Bell bun! 10:50 a.m. This morning so far we have ridden Space Mountain, Goofy's Barnstormer, Dumbo...  and The Little Mermaid! Now we are in Gaston's Tavern!  We decided to have a La Fous Brew, w...

Homemade Beauty: Ice Facial

It may not sound very pleasant, but running an ice cube over your face has a ton of benefits for your skin! They will help to smooth your complexion by combating fat cells, easing wrinkles, fighting acne, and promoting blood circulation that will help heal past blemishes!  Be sure to  wrap the cubes  in a paper towel, or a baggie  because applying them directly to your skin can cause delicate blood vessels to break For an added  benefits to this  treatment, try freezing your cubes with watermelon, lemon, or rose!
