Ipsy September + Past Hightlights

So I finally took the dive, and bought an Ipsy subscription!  I have enjoyed watching these videos for years, but could never bring myself to go ahead and buy it, but I'm so excited I did!
First of all, can we talk about how incredibly cute this bag is?  It is a metallic brown pleather above the zipper and on the back, and below the zipper is textured.  I thought is was so cute, that I used it as a clutch on my Anniversary!

So the first thing I received on the far left is First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream.  This is a very thick unscented hand cream, which will be great for Winter!

The second thing I received was Elizabeth Mott Queen of the Fill tinted brow gel.  I was really excited about this, because I've never tried a brow product before, but I have been wanting to!  Sadly, because I don't pluck or wax my brows, they were very thick and dark to begin with and the thick brow look did not work for me...

The third thing I received on the far right, is Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Primer Style Prep.  This is basically a heat protectant, for sleek (I'm assuming meaning straight?) styles.  I have been using this, and haven't noticed a huge difference in my hair, but it smells amazing! It is almost a spicy, fruity, fall kind of scent! Really unexpected, yet very pleasant!  My only complaint with this product would be that it had leaked all over everything else during shipping...

I also received this eyeshadow from a NYX and Ipsy partnership, that can't be bought in stores!  I have really been enjoying it.  It has a champagne light brown that is very shimmery, a medium brown color with a bit of glitter, and finally a soft black.  These colors are very pigmented and buildable.

The final thing I received J. Cat Beauty #MOTD Waterproof Slide on Pencil for Eyes in Bronze.  It is a very smooth and pigmented pencil that is made to last for the whole day!  Though I have quite a few pencils in this color already, it's nice, so no complaints.

Finally, since I have been slack and not shown you my July or August bags, I thought I would show you the highlights from both!
In July I received this cloth, almost tie-dye bag, that fit the "Summer Lovin" theme quite well!  My favorite product from the month was Octavio Molina Hair La Playa Salt Spray.  I have tried the Not Your Mother's Beach Spray before, and I like this one a lot more!  It has a good hold, and a very salty beachy smell.  I have found it works best on dry hair, and does well reviving tired curls and scrunched hair.

In August I received this black and white bag that has almost a vinyl texture, which I was too crazy about.  My favorite thing by far in this bag was the Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Liner Pen.  I have tried eyeliner pens before, and tried winged eyeliner before, and neither have ever really worked out... until this!  This glides on so smoothly, lasts forever, yet when you make a mistake, easily wipes off!  This is probably my favorite makeup item I've ever had!

If you want to see me use many of these in an unsponsored routine check out my Get Ready with Me: Anniversary post!

Ipsy: June

So guys... I resubscribed to Ipsy!  Since I was back to having a summer job I figured I could spare $10 a month!  And so far, this bag wasn't the best, but I updated my profile so it will take a minute for them to readapt. The bag this month though... It is on my swap site on MySubscriptionAddiction if you want it!  Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. This is the Kokie nail polish in the color Gone Rio.  I hadn't ever heard of this brand before, but the packaging is adorable!  Apparently you can buy it at Walmart for around $5.  The color is a really nice orange-y coral and it has a decent lasting power considering how rough I am on my nails!  Overall I liked it and I would buy from this brand again. This is the City Color Shimmer Shadow in the color Cheers to Life.  It is a pretty basic sandy brown with a ton of shimmer, obviously!  City Color isn't my favorite brand to get because it is fairly cheap and the products are ki...

DIY Bath Fizz

Personally, I love the little Bath Fizzes you can buy, they are just so much fun!! How fun would it Be to be able to make you own! Tools and Materials Baking soda Cornstarch Citric acid Spritzer bottles Food coloring Glass bowl Essential oil Baking molds How-To: 1. Sift 1 3/4 cup baking soda, 1 cup citric acid, and 2 cups cornstarch through a sieve to remove all of the chunks. To make different colors, fill small spritzer bottles with water and add about 6 drops of food coloring to each.  2. Pour 1 cup of the powdered mixture into a bowl. Lightly spray, stirring after each spritz, until powder is your desired color. Next, add water slowly, so mixture does not fizz. Check the consistency of powder with your fingers; when it can be tightly packed or shaped like sand, stop adding water (this may take a little while). 3. Select an essential oil. Add 5 drops if it's one of the stronger scents (peppermint or lavender), and 6 if it's a weaker one (lemon or grapefr...

Spring Break 2016

Well I just finished an extremely short Spring Break... I was only given two days last week! Isn't that sad?  But hey, I had the most of it! I started out Spring Break (on Wednesday night) with a bonfire for my friend's birthday!  We have the perfect bonfire spot beside a river, and in the river lives otters!  It was too dark to see them that night, but they are my favorite animal, and I am looking foreward to many Summer bonfires with our otter friends!  I have never really been into the whole eno hammock thing, but my friend brought a double so I though, why not??  It was surprisingly comfortable, and we had a lot of fun celebrating her birthday together! But now the main event of Spring Break... On Thursday Maze (my boyfriend) and I went to a Flogging Molly concert in Charlotte!   But first I made him take me to South Park Mall, because it looked insane!!  And it was, though it took longer to get to Charlotte than we thought it wo...
