Disney 2016: Day 6

3:40
Good Evening ladies! Sorry for the late start today, but after the late night we had last night we slept in today... Until 11! We never do that!

Today I am wearing A Mickey tank top from Walmart, black athletic shorts from Old Navy, Minnie Ears from one of my first trips to Disney, Teva sandals, my FitBit, and my Magic Band but I forgot to take a picture in the room, so here is one of us hot and sweaty in Italy with my dad pretending to be annoyed!

We ended up getting in to Epcot about 12:45, and have since ridden Spaceship Earth, and Mission Space both with fastpasses!

But right now eating lunch at La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion.  I had a huge pile of awesome Nachos which you can see peeking out there in the back, but the main reason to come here? These Churros with caramel sauce we had for dessert... Those churros were a beyond words kind of amazing, and I could (and possibly did) drink the caramel.

I always love the inside of the Mexico pavilion.  They have set it up to look like an outdoor market at night with stars and lanterns!  There are lots of little carts and a booth with a woman painting intricate little carvings, it is my favorite!

7:00 p.m.
We just stopped and had a snack in Italy (as mentioned above)!

While in Norway we bought a Berry Crème Puff and a Cream Horn, but we weren't really hungry yet. So, we visited a few pavilions, did a little shopping, rode the ride in Mexico and the new Frozen Norway ride (which was AMAZING), and finally stopped in Italy! Italy doesn't have many things for the normal person. They have very high end shops and sit down restaurants, but no quick service or things to see! We did discover that because of that, it is a fairly empty, shady, and pretty place to stop for a snack!

Honestly, I was more impressed with the desserts in Norway than France!  Look at all of the cream filled things!

And though we didn't try them, check out the Olaf and Frozen cupcakes!

Oh, and we made some friends!  We never really pay attention to the cast members in the parks who aren't recognizable characters, but these were goofy and fun!

9:00 p.m.
About to watch Illuminations with crepes!

We grabbed a seat on the balcony of a restaurant in Japan, and it just lit up around us!

Pictures of fireworks honestly never do them justice... But I tried!

And the lit up world as it floated out into the water.  It opens up and fire and effects come out later in the show!

I love the way the golf ball lights up at night!

11:30 p.m.
I really thought we'd be in bed by now... We came back to our room at Allstar Music resort and a transformer had blown, and all the power was out. They had to move us to Allstar Sports, which was an hour and a half long process. I don't know where Disney has hidden their Magic recently, but they sure need to find it.

I apologize for ending on a negative note, but hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Thank you all so much for reading! I thought it would be fun to have a little summer Disney sun to brighten up snowy winter days!  If you missed yesterday you can see Day 5 here, or go to the Disney 2016 tag to see the full series!

My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website....

College Countdown: Planer and Week at a Glance

The week prior to move in is going to be crazy!!  We are getting back from Disney the night of August 11th, and I move in between 1:00 and 4:00 on the 12th… Between driving over ten hours back home, unpacking from Disney, finishing packing for college, and then finally moving in, it is going to be a chaotic two days!   Once I'm home I have to pack up my clothes (which I've already picked out), pack any toiletries I haven't been able to, and anything else last minute which I wasn't able to before the Disney trip! My schedule for the day went something like this... Staying up late into the night packing and then waking up much too early to continue  12:00 Lunch at my Grandmother's house with my extended family since I haven't seen them in a while and won't see them again for a longer while! 2:00 Leave for College with pitstops at the place I used to work to pick up my check, the bank to cash the check, and then off to college! 3:45 Moving ...

Winter As a College Student

Let me just tell you, there isn't a thing in the world fun about a dorm room in the winter!  On the happen chance that yours is as old as mine (pre-1960s, thank you very much) you probably have radiators too, which personally, I have very little control over.  Even on the off setting they exude so much heat that the room is stifling!  And then you open the window and snow starts blowing in... Yay Appalachian Mountains! Let's just all agree that is quite a process.  So what is one to do to combat these cold (and getting colder!) temperatures? First, I've got two B's for you (mostly because I couldn't come up with a third...)  Blankets and Bedwarmers! Let's face it, dorm rooms are tiny and your bed is the focus of the majority of decor, as well as where you will be spending a large portion of your time (yay Netflix binges!) so you need to make sure it is super cozy! Personally, I have my sheets and comforter that I sleep under every night.  ...
