Homemade Beauty: Lavender Facial Toner

Lavender is in bloom right now, so it is the perfect time to make this natural (and cheap!) DIY facial toner!
Ingredients:
1 Tbs lavender buds
1 cup pure witch hazel
6 drops lavender essential oil
1 cup distilled water

Directions:
  1. Combine the witch hazel, lavender buds, and essential oil in an air tight jar and store in a cool, dark location for 2 weeks.  Shake the jar vigorously every day while the lavender is steeping.
  2. After 2 weeks, strain out the lavender buds using a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth.
  3. Add 1 cup distilled water and mix.
  4. Can be stored at room temperature and is best if used within 12 months of preparation.

Girls Night In!

Time to unwind with a girls night!  If you are like me and my adorable roomie, you just completed a week of mind numbing midterms and you need to unwind.   Priority number one is getting into the comfiest possible clothes that you own, bonus points if you have super cute matching pjs unlike me... My top pick is my boyfriends flannel (which is huge on me! <3) and leggings with fuzzy socks.   If you want to go the comfy but cute route, Adore Me has sleepwear ranging from sexy slips and camis if you are having a night in with your significant other, cute sweats for a girls night like we are having, and robes if you just need something to cuddle up in and be extra cozy! Dirty Myrtle 2017: Day 1

7:05   Good morning ladies, it's beach day!!  I have been up about an hour now finishing up some last minute things, and I was up until after 1 last night doing the same… it's been hectic, and I'm wiped, but ready to get on the road!  Kaitlyn should be here in about an hour, and before then I've got to finish packing, get ready, and pack my car!
