Back into the Swing of Things :)

Well June was a busy and fun filled month :)

Since about halfway through May I have been posting all about packing and my trip to the beach, this past week or two I have even been posting every day! Well I am about ready to get back to normal, aren't you?

Last week our church had Bible school every evening. I have been working with our counties Children's Librarian almost every morning through the past two weeks, and I will be continuing through next week. I am going to be leaving for a church camp in about 11 days. I will get back from camp on the 19th, and my little brothers birthday party is the 20th. On the 22nd I am leaving for the beach with my friend, and we will get back on the 27th. After that I will be heading over to Pigeon Forge a few times before school starts on August 17th. And then Summer is over! Isn't that something to think about...

Needless to say I have some pre-written posts for the rest of this month, which is why I might seem distant or detached. I am very sorry about that though! I will try to put up a few more Summer Days Blog posts before school starts back, but if I had to bet, you all are tired of hearing about my life for a while. And I don't blame you! :)

We will get back into the swing of things with a "Homemade Beauty" post on Friday. But in the mean time, have a happy and safe 4th of July and remember that I love all of you! :)

Outer Banks 2013: Day 8, Friday June 14th

9:00 AM Just woke up... and ate more Krispy Kreme Doughnuts ;) Breakfast isn't a fun meal to talk about, it is the same everyday! Well today is our last day in Emerald Isle... After this we are going to a few other places, but this is our last actual beach day...which is kind of sad 1:00 PM Well, to make my little brother happy we made a deal with him that we would go to the pool first this morning. We ended up staying at the pool until lunch because it didn't make any sense to walk all the way down to the beach to just walk back an hour later! So we swam and floated around on the pool all morning :) 7:00 PM We wanted to stay out at the beach as long as possible today, so we stayed out until now! I wrote my name in the sand :) Summer 2013 Look at this awesome sandcastle we found!! I am going to stay in this house one day... It looks like a Barbie House! And if that is Barbie's House, then this has to be Ken's...

January Nibblr Subscription Box

So after searching around on My Subscription Addiction for a subscription box to try out for free or on the cheap to see if I liked it, I found this Nibblr box from the Pillsbury company! Upon opening my box, I found a tray of four, healthy, portion controlled snacks. Each month they send you four snacks at random, until you begin to personalize your account. You can personalize your account by selecting "Love it, Like it, Interested, or No Thanks". All snacks begin marked "Interested", and after trying them you may mark them otherwise. They will then try to send snacks marked "Love it" and "Like it" more often, and avoid sending the ones marked "No Thanks". The first snack on my try was "PB Graham" It is described as "peanuts, peanut wafers, and graham cookies snack mix", and falls into the "Feel Good Sweets" category. Degusta Box: October

I hadn't ever heard of this subscription box until I received an email about a promotion they were having. This is a $19.99 subscription box, but they were offering a special discount for $6.99 plus two free gifts! I figured, why not give it a try? It came in a HUGE heavy box! Inside it was wrapped with a cute little sticker, and everything even moderately breakable was packaged in bubble wrap. I was immediately impressed. I thought I'd show the two sweet little extra gifts they sent me first... You can't tell as much in this picture, but this is a quite large bag of mini cow tales! They also sent me a bag of Haribo sour gummy bears. I am not a big Haribo fan, but these seem similar to Sour Patch Kids, which I love, so maybe they will be good!
