Graze: August

I get these so sporadically these days it is almost funny!  I cancel, and they offer me a discount, so I delay my box for a few months, and then get another!  And then we repeat that cycle again.  Overall this was mostly a box of repeats, with a few new finds.  Not too bad to be honest.

These are the Fantastic Forest Fruits.  This contains blueberries, lingonberries, soft apple pieces, and cherry raisins.  I love dried fruit, so I am all about this!  Though, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what lingonberries are...

This is the Salted Fudge and Peanut Cookie snack!  This has baked salted peanuts, cocoa cookies, vanilla fudge, and redskin peanuts.  Even though I've had this one before, I'll never say no to fudge and cookies!

This is the Pizza Margherita snack, and to be honest I think I may have had it before.  This has tomato bread sticks, basil "crunchinis," and cheese flavored cashews.  If I remember correctly, I liked the bread and decided that maybe cashews aren't for me...

These are the Booster Seeds.  This contains sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and golden flaxseeds.  Seeds and nuts aren't really my thing, especially when they are healthy and unsalted with little flavor like these.  They aren't the worst, but they just aren't my favorite either.

These are the Kettlecorn Kern Pops.  I am pretty sure I had these quite some time back and enjoyed them then.  I have also had the ranch flavor of these since then and they were great as well.  The Kettlecorn flavor is fairly traditional on these, very sweet and salty, and I love it!

This is the Pumpkin Spice Flapjack.  I just love their flapjacks, they are so good!  I received this one last year around this time as well.  Pumpkin Spice isn't my favorite, but this one just tastes very cinnamon-y.  I wish I could just buy these at the grocery store!

These are the Banana Caramel Dippers.  Once again, this is a repeat, but totally in a good way!  The cookies are a bit crumbly when you try to dip them, but anything dipped in caramel sauce is great, so no complaints here!

This is the Raspberry Coconut Muffin snack.  This contains raspberry infused cranberries, almond slivers, amaretti drops, and coconut flakes.  So... I liked the sound of the name of this, but I'm much more skeptical of the things that are in it.  I don't really like coconut or almonds, so, I guess we shall see!

My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website....

Homemade Beauty... Self Tanner

In need of a tan and don't have the time to get one? And then it gets worse... You check your beauty cabinet and are out of Self-tanner as well... So what now?? Mix your favorite powdered bronzer with you moisturizer for a temporary self-tan. It won't stain your skin like a self-tanner, and will wash off in water, but it works for a quick fix! Bonus? Mix a drop of body oil or olive oil with moisturizer for an all-over shimmer. Or maybe even add some loose glitter for shimmer and sparkle :)

Homemade Beauty... Banana Mask

Bananas, which contain vitamins A and E, are great for treating the flakiness and redness that caused by the cold winter air. The heavy cream in this mask also contains elastin, which will leave your skin feeling soft and supple. You Will Need: 1 Banana mashed well 2 Tablespoons heavy cream 1.5 Tablespoon honey 1.5 Tablespoon flour 1 Tablespoon of water Mix this into a nice mousse. Add the water last—a little at a time to get a nice consistency. Apply to the face; leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse. Credit to:  http://www.seventeen.com/beauty/tips/diy-beauty-treatments#slide-5
