Hauls Upon Hauls: Final Part 3, After Christmas Sales!!

My name is Bethany and I am a shopaholic… Except not really because this is from more than one shopping trip, so that makes it better right??

If I know the prices I will list them, and if not, well, just assume it was pretty cheap ;)

Walmart
The majority of everything I bought from Walmart was part of the After Christmas sale! I will specify if it was not.
  • Flower Gift Set in Cherished which includes Cherished perfume (.5 fl oz), lipstick in LB5 Haute Honeysuckle, and nail polish in NP4 Gorgeous Gerbera - This was less than $5… Can you believe that?? The perfume alone is regularly almost $20!
  • Flower Nail Polish in NP3 Fanatical Botanical and TC1 Rose Gold Top Coat
  • Flower Lipstick in LB3 Rose-y Future - (So, I actually bought two of the perfume gift sets and a nail polish gift set, and just put the things I didn't like up to give away later… Is that horrible of me??  But C’mon I paid less than $15 for five nail polishes, two lipsticks, and two perfumes, and they are all normally on the more expensive side of drugstore makeup and are very good quality!)

Bulu Box: February

So I saw a coupon on this Subscription box which would make every box you ever ordered $5 instead of $10, which sounds great right?  Not so my friends... I figured this would be a nice health subscription box with healthy food and workout tips, maybe with a few supplements... It is almost entirely supplements, and I am not a big enough health nut to buy into it all... So needless to say, I canceled, but thought I'd let you know what I received and a couple of the small highlights! The first thing I pulled out was the Vital 4U Fiber Drink which is: "Packed with soluble prebiotic fiber...to promote better gut health and digestion."  These are $12.00 for a 12 pack, and I received two, so basically a $2 value.  I gave these to my mom to add into our smoothies she makes for an added boost, because I didn't want to drink them straight. There were the only things I was SUPER excited about! I love gummy vitamins!  These were the best I had ever tried, with a g...

College Countdown: Basic College Packing List

In this list I'm not going to go over every single thing.  Throughout this week I will do separate posts on Clothing and Makeup etc.  On Saturday of this week I will post a concise version of this including everything mentioned.  For now I would just like to go over basics such as kitchen items, "school supplies" and other items you may not have thought of! Kitchen These are basics that you might need if you are in a dorm and do not necessarily have a kitchen.  I will have a sink, so it will be doable for me to wash dishes as needed.  If you do not have a sink you might consider buying disposable silverware and dishes so you won't have to wash them in the bathroom. Plastic Bowls Plastic Cups Tumblers or Reusable Water Bottles - I recommend this regardless of if you have a sink. Brita Pitcher - The water will probably be different from what you are used to, and this will make the transition easier Ice Cube Trays Plastic Ice Cubes - If the water is jus...

College Countdown: Packing Clothing and Cleaning Out

Let's tackle the packing part first... Instead of folding or rolling all of the clothes which needed to be hung up and carting them to college in a suitcase, I left them on hangers and wrapped a trash bag around them.  Once arriving in my dorm I hung them up, cut off the bags, and everything was great!  Also, if you can guarantee that you won't need your warm winter kind of clothing until after Fall Break, then don't bring it!  Take home summer clothes over Spring Break and bring back any fall clothes (which I'll mark on this list with a * for convenience). Many people on the Internet strictly recommend the thin felt hangers, I have used cheap Walmart hangers and haven't had a problem, so I guess it's personal preference! Dresses Little Black Dress Versatile Skirt "Party" Dress Sunday Dress Shirts Button Downs - Can be worn as light jackets in the spring and fall, or more formally if needed.  I suggest bringing: Denim/Chambr...
