Hauls Upon Hauls: Part 1, Christmas!

This is going to be a three part Haul series detailing everything I have received or bought from my Birthday on December 15th to just lately!

From Co-Workers
  • Beautiful Day Lotion from Bath and Body Works

  • Candle from Walmart - I had actually looked at buying this, so I am happy I got it!
  • Snowman socks from Walmart and Earwarmers from Walmart both of which aren't pictured only because I couldn't find them... but I do like them!


From Maze (boyfriend :)
  • Two Minion Cups - I love minis, but I am still a little baffled as to why I needed two… ;)

  • Tinkerbell Sticker - You can’t really see it well, but I promise it is cute!
  • Frozen patterned Heating pad - His mom got this for me, and he is still completely baffled as to why this was my favorite present from him! ;)

From Kaitlyn (aka my best friend ever!)
  • Oahu Bath and Body Works Shower Gel - I have the rest of the set, and this completes it!
  • Green and Purple Box - This might seem kind of odd, but I love little pointless boxes and bags :)

I yell out “This book shows you how to make people!” Because my family is very sarcastic and goofy, the book was was immediately taken and inspected.  My cousin says “I always told you not to make people!”

  • Camera Set - I wasn’t so sure what i though about this at first to tell the truth. It seemed like a really nice camera that came with a bag and everything, but I hadn’t asked for one, and when I take pictures I usually just use Mom’s amazing camera! So I had really considered returning it, and putting the money towards a new laptop for college, but i decided to try it out first.  I took it to a Carolina Basketball game, and then am using it now, but I’m still not completely settled on it! What do you all think?

  • Snackeze from AsSeenOnTV - I really couldn’t figure out why I got this, and then I used it, and I was sold :)

  • Message/NIV Bible - I know a lot of people don’t agree with different translations of the Bible, and even after specifically picking this one out and reading in it I’m still not sure I do! But as a study tool, it is the most useful thing I have ever had!

  • Home Free CD - If you have never heard of them you need to go find them!! They are an all men, country a cappella group! (Not pictured because it is in my car and it is snowing outside at the moment! :O) 
  • Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs Roller Ball perfume - Was so not expecting this, and it made me so excited!!

Mail Time: TheECPlannerKitLady Sticker Haul

So apparently Halloween was mail day for me!  I checked my mailbox that morning after class and found a few fun things, and then later I got a notification that a package had been delivered, so why not check again?  I found my package and another letter!  It hadn't been such a great weekend, so finding all of the fun things waiting for me on Monday perked me right up! Empties Part 1: Hair and Body Products

Please don't judge the amount of products I have here! This is probably collective from the past 6 months of more, and I just did a clean out of some old products.  To make things easier I will underline the products I have repurchased or would consider buying again in the future. Hair Products These are all of the mousses I've used recently! I use a lot of mousse...  And also somehow a hairspray snuck it's way in there Got2B Kinky - Can't say I'd buy this again... I generally buy whatever is on sale because I like to try new things, but this was a bad choice.  It didn't have a good hold, and had a very different smell that I wasn't crazy over.  Not repurchasing. Herbal Essences Curl Booster - This one I liked a lot better.  The hold wasn't steller, but my hair was always very soft when I used it.  I haven't repurchased this currently, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. Sunburn Relief

Even when you wear sunscreen, sometimes the inevitable happens and you get the dreaded sunburn... So what should you do? I have a few suggestions of the best way to be as comfortable as possible while you recover! 1.) Pain Reliever First things first, as soon as you discover your sunburn head to the medicine cabinet and take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as Ibuprofen or Advil. These are anti-inflammatory medications which will help to reduce swelling and pressure from the sunburn, which will relive  some of the pain. 2.) Hydrate The second most helpful thing you can possibly do is drink water! The sun has sucked all of the moisture from your skin, and it is literally  begging for you to replenish it. Try to drink just water, since it is better for you and more hydrating than juice or sodas. 3.)
