Homemade Beauty... DIY Lip Gloss

You Will Need:
Clear Lipgloss
A fun colored blush, eyeshadow, or other pigment

Directions:
First you will need to get out some of the clear lipgloss... if you are using a squeeze tube, squeeze some out onto a clean surface, but only as much as you would need for one application! Next you will need to add the color, if you are using a loose pigment just pour some in, or if your pigment is pressed scrape some off with a butter knife or X-Acto knife. Mix together and  apply with a lip brush! :)

I know I don't usually post at 9 o'clock on Monday nights, but I wanted to go ahead and get this out to you all while I had time, because... I got another VoxBox! This one was the Tresemmé Reverse Your Routine box with a full sized shampoo and conditioner. This is a Volumizing system, and is reffered to as "Reverse Your Routine" because you conditioner before you shampoo... Weird right?  I have to say I was a little confused and skeptical at first. The concept is that when you put conditioner in your hair and rinse then residue is left on weighing down your hair.  My thoughts were that the residue left were the moisturizing properties and that you wouldn't want to rid yourself of all of them... Walmart Beauty Box: Fall

I fully intended to get this up on Saturday, as per usual, especially considering finals are over and I am now I break (!!!), but when I went to start writing Friday night the internet was out!  I go to Appalachian State University, with the possibility of 18,000 students being on the internet at any given moment and it works fine... I come home to a house of four people and it immediately crashes.  But regardless, I wanted to try to get this post up anyway just for the fun of it!  (And because I am a bored college student with no job and nothing to do for the next month and a half so... hit me up!) This is the fall edition of the Walmart Beauty Box, which is a $5 quarterly subscription.   These can kind of be hit or miss, but because they are only $20 spread out over a year and a nice little surprise when they show up, I keep it anyway.  This one was actually pretty decent! Apartment Tour + Fall Decor!

It's coming a bit late, because by this point I have Christmas decor up, but why not?  It isn't December yet, and I loved my fall decor and wanted to show it off! Entrance and "Dining Room" We did our best to section off the living room/dining room/kitchen area so it had a house feel that trashy college apartment.  We also tried to add all the things we could to make it feel more bright and homey since only one piece of furniture in here is actually ours!  The rest was provided for us. So for the dining are my roommate who replaced her desk chair with a comfy version brought out her chair so we could have 5 seats.  We then added cute placemats which stay out year round For fall decor I added the glittery leaf centerpiece and a few candles, as well as the wine bottles!
