Ipsy: June

My June Ipsy bag!
Probably my least favorite part of this bag... was the actual bag.  It's quite ugly, but the products are good for the most part!

This Be a Bombshell lipgloss in Secret is ok… It’s a nice brand, so I’m not mad at it, it just isn't my favorite.  I put it on and it had almost a concealer like tint instead of the pretty pinky nude in the tube.  I have used it since and if used with a lighter hand, it's ok.

I love this Formula X nail polish by Sephora in Wingwoman!  It is such a nice dark pink/red color, and it didn't chip!  Do you know how hard it is to find a nail polish that doest chip on me?

This Three Tone "Bronzer" by Crown Brush is ridiculous... It looks like little kids play makeup.  It has a strip of bronze, a strip of pink, and one of a "highlight," and as soon as I took it out of he box the packaging fell apart.  I didn't even bother trying it, I just listed it on a swap website.

But this Urban Decay eyeshadow in Fireball makes up for the bad bronzer!! I haven't ever gotten an Urban Decay product from Ipsy and I'm super excited.  This is a beautiful peachy gold color and I have been obsessed with using it!

This is the Everything Balm by Delectable Cake Beauty.  It have ever used Aquaphor, this is basically the exact same thing, but it tastes like cupcakes.  It says it can be used for lips, to moisturize skin, repair cuticles, seal split ends, and brighten dark circles.  I'm not mad at this, it just isn't my favorite.

Overall this was a pretty great bag!  I got some pretty great amazing brands, and only one product I really disliked, I'd say this was a success!

Walmart Box: Spring

Out of school and back to Wednesday posts!  And we are kicking off this extra posting day with... The new Spring Walmart Box!  I know I always post these pretty late, and I don't know why, because I really do love them!  And for $5?  You really can't beat it! This is the Dove Advanced Care deodorant in a scent very similar to the cucumber scent that everyone used to be crazy over in the 90s... I was sick of it then, but it was kind of nice to have a little throwback sample!  I've used the heck out of it and it has held up well! This is the Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Ultra Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner.  It is made to intensely hydrate and soften hair.  I am always looking for new baby shampoo and conditioners to take with me on trips! This is the Bioré Baking Soda Acne Scrub.  At some other point I had received the pore cleansing scrub, and I am very interested in what the difference is, if there is one.  What I mostly remember about the other one

My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website.  You are going to get

St. Ives Influenster VoxBox

Good news, I received another Influenster VoxBox!! This was a Holiday campaign following New Years, and was sponsored by St. Ives.  Now as always, I did receive these products for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are completely my own! Oatmeal Scrub and Mask If you are used to their ever popular Apricot Scrub, this is quite a different experience.  Where the Apricot Scrub has large abrasive pieces, the Oatmeal Scrub has smaller and gentler pieces, but significantly more of them.  This also has a much thicker and stickier consistency, with a smell that is reminiscent of sunscreen.  The way I chose to use this was as a mask.  I applied a generous amount to my face, rubbing in circular motions, making sure it was fully scrubbed and evenly covered.  The bottle recommends letting it soak in for 5-7 minutes.  After the lime elapsed, I put some water on my fingers and rewet the mask, scrubbing in circular motions once again, and then rinsed!  This was the 6 oz bottle, which re
