Summertime Sweety

So I took a year off!  2018 was a crazy year, and a lot has happened, so I thought it might be fun to do a recap of all of the fun, unexpected, and just crazy things that happened in 2018! January I started the year off by having coffee and lunch with my favorite girl at my favorite coffee shop! (She is also the photographer of the picture shown above.) The majority of the rest of January was spent trying to figure out my life... I made some big changes relationship wise by ending an almost five year relationship I was reluctant to let go of, but it ended up being a wonderful decision that has allowed me to grow in so many ways since.  Sometimes life has growing pains. Oh, I also turned 21 the month before, so there were a lot of other (now legal) activities going on in my life to help the healing process! I know I'm a little late to the party with this one, but I'm trying! The theme of the October bag was Spellbound.  I love that they are doing these little cards now!  I can't really say the products in the bag match the theme, but the bag definitely does! And here is my overview for the month! The first product is probably the thing I find most underwhelming, and it is the Marc Anthony Coconut Oil and Shea Butter hair oil.  I get hair oils from Ipsy all the time it seems like, and I always tell them I don't like them and not to send anymore, but whatever.  It isn't that this product is bad, I have some other things from this brand and it is good, but I just really don't need, want, or use hair oils. Next is the Tarte Lifted Sweatproof Mascara.  My first thought was how different tis packaging looks from most mascaras and how well this is going to stand out in stores!  It is bold and bright whereas most bottles are in blacks or darker c...

It's coming a bit late, because by this point I have Christmas decor up, but why not?  It isn't December yet, and I loved my fall decor and wanted to show it off! Entrance and "Dining Room" We did our best to section off the living room/dining room/kitchen area so it had a house feel that trashy college apartment.  We also tried to add all the things we could to make it feel more bright and homey since only one piece of furniture in here is actually ours!  The rest was provided for us. So for the dining are my roommate who replaced her desk chair with a comfy version brought out her chair so we could have 5 seats.  We then added cute placemats which stay out year round For fall decor I added the glittery leaf centerpiece and a few candles, as well as the wine bottles!
