Girls Night In!

Time to unwind with a girls night!  If you are like me and my adorable roomie, you just completed a week of mind numbing midterms and you need to unwind.

Priority number one is getting into the comfiest possible clothes that you own, bonus points if you have super cute matching pjs unlike me... My top pick is my boyfriends flannel (which is huge on me! <3) and leggings with fuzzy socks.

If you want to go the comfy but cute route, Adore Me has sleepwear ranging from sexy slips and camis if you are having a night in with your significant other, cute sweats for a girls night like we are having, and robes if you just need something to cuddle up in and be extra cozy! I highly reccomend them!  And, just like with their bra and panty sets, your first set is only $25!

Step two is to slap on a face mask!

In the picture above I am wearing the Glam Glow SuperMud, which is not pictured because I only have a small Sephora sample, but it works as well as everyone claims!  My roommate is wearing the Jor'el Parker Fango Mud Mask which I also love!  It has a very similar effect to the SuperMud.  The nugg masks are also a good choice, and are very reasonably priced.

If you just want to zone in on a particular problem area such as your nose, the BiorĂ© pore strips are the bomb.  Now they even come in cool cheetah and zebra patterns!

Step three, snackage!! Have you ever made mug cakes before?  Because they are a girl in a dorm's best friend! Let me know if you'd like a recipe and I'd be glad to post it!

These chocolate molten cake, and I could eat cup after cup of them...

Finally, sit down with your cake and a drink if you are of age (or a copycat like us if you aren't...) and pick the perfect movie!  We chose to watch George of the Jungle so we could stare at a cute boys abs, but as Halloween approaches there are plenty other scary movie options you might want to consider!

The Netflix show I am hooked on right now is Stranger Things, and I can't wait for the next season!  It is super suspenseful,  and even kinda scary at some points, perfect for Halloween!

I'm not sure I want to recommend this movie necessarily, but if you are looking for a true scare you'll find it here...  It was rated number two on Cosmopolitans top 25 scary movie list, and they said it was endorsed by the official satanic temple, so...  Personally, I hated it, but it is terrifying!

If you want to get any of the sleepware pictured above, and you want to get it for $25, they use this link: my.adore.me
They were also nice enough to provide us with a discount code for their athletic clothing line as well! Just enter "GETACTIVE10" for 10% off of their athletic line!

Now go forth and have a productive girls night!

Walmart Box: Spring

Out of school and back to Wednesday posts!  And we are kicking off this extra posting day with... The new Spring Walmart Box!  I know I always post these pretty late, and I don't know why, because I really do love them!  And for $5?  You really can't beat it! This is the Dove Advanced Care deodorant in a scent very similar to the cucumber scent that everyone used to be crazy over in the 90s... I was sick of it then, but it was kind of nice to have a little throwback sample!  I've used the heck out of it and it has held up well! This is the Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Ultra Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner.  It is made to intensely hydrate and soften hair.  I am always looking for new baby shampoo and conditioners to take with me on trips! This is the BiorĂ© Baking Soda Acne Scrub.  At some other point I had received the pore cleansing scrub, and I am very interested in what the difference is, if there is one.  What I mostly remember about the other one

My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website.  You are going to get

St. Ives Influenster VoxBox

Good news, I received another Influenster VoxBox!! This was a Holiday campaign following New Years, and was sponsored by St. Ives.  Now as always, I did receive these products for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are completely my own! Oatmeal Scrub and Mask If you are used to their ever popular Apricot Scrub, this is quite a different experience.  Where the Apricot Scrub has large abrasive pieces, the Oatmeal Scrub has smaller and gentler pieces, but significantly more of them.  This also has a much thicker and stickier consistency, with a smell that is reminiscent of sunscreen.  The way I chose to use this was as a mask.  I applied a generous amount to my face, rubbing in circular motions, making sure it was fully scrubbed and evenly covered.  The bottle recommends letting it soak in for 5-7 minutes.  After the lime elapsed, I put some water on my fingers and rewet the mask, scrubbing in circular motions once again, and then rinsed!  This was the 6 oz bottle, which re
