What I've Been Up to This Month: March, April and May

I have been pretty absent lately as I finished up the school year, namely my first year of college!

My classes ended last week on May 3rd, and I lucked out and didn't have to take any finals this semester!  I did have final project week though... During that week I wrote over 40 pages worth of term papers, took two tests, and completed a final project in which I had to present a powerpoint for 10 minutes.  It was a rough week, but it was all worth it, because I made all A's yet again this semester!

I finished up my freshman year only lacking two classes in completing my Associates Degree.  I'm going to take these two online this Summer, and enter Appalachian University in the fall as a Junior so I may begin taking classes within my major!
So this was my friend and I who goes to Appalachian, on the day I went there to discuss transferring.  It was a hard day, so we decided we needed some ice cream!

As a reward for graduating, the community college which I was attending took us on a free trip to the Biltmore House!

And I truly love where I live...

So what is coming up then?
For the blog, I have three months of Food boxes and Ipsy bags to catch up on, a two part empty products review, and hopefully a packing post to accompany my up and coming surprise trip to the beach!
For me, I am going to be working full time during my last summer at the daycare, taking two summer classes, and attending Appalachian's orientation... But I will also be taking a beach trip with my boyfriend's family at the end of this month, a trip with my friend in July, and will be leaving for Disney in 78 days!  This is going to be a busy summer and I am going to have to work hard to get done all that needs to be done before college, but these difficult times will be broken up by periods of much needed time spent with family and friends!
So I am pretty excited! Are you?

Nadine West: Fourth Shipment

So this wasn't the most successful shipment ever, but I still got one nice piece out of it!  And they left me a sweet surprise which I'll tell you about at the end, so I wasn't upset at all!
This is actually two items from my shipment!  This outfit contains both the shirt and leggings from this month, and they kind of go together!
Though I really liked the pattern of the leggings, they are much more like tights.  They were totally see through, which made me pretty sad.  If they were marketed as tights then I wouldn't be too disappointed, but these were called Leggings.  They retailed for $14.49, and I didn't keep them.
The shirt fit very well and was extremely comfy.  I have been looking for a shirt this color, so I was pretty excited to see it in my bag, even though it is pretty basic.  This shirt also retailed for $14.49, and I did elect to keep it!
These are the "Beauty Within" earrings, and I'm actually pretty sure I received the matching neckl…

Nadine West: May

I signed up for a new subscription service!  I know... So surprising. This one is Nadine West; it is a clothing subscription service, but unlike many other similar services it is only $9.98 per month!  The items in the package tend to run from around $10 to $30, but if you choose to keep anything then the price of shipping will be deducted from whatever you don't return!  It also comes with a prepaid shipping label and whatever you don't like you put back in the bag it came in, cover the old shipping label, and stick it in the mail!  Easy as that!
Sorry, I couldn't wait to open it to get a really good picture...  But isn't it wrapped super cute? When you sign up you take a style quiz picking examples of clothes and jewelry you like and how often you would like to receive them, as well as your preference on colors and patterns.  Each month you should receive at least one clothing item, as well as two or three other accessories!
They nailed my taste in earrings!  These …

Nadine West: Second Shipment

This was my second shipment of Nadine West, which is a styling service which sends you clothing and accessories for about $10 a month (or every two weeks if you prefer).  You have about a week to a week and a half to try on the cloths and decide if you like them enough to keep them, and if you do the price you paid for shipping is subtracted from the total cost of the items you elect to keep!  What make it even better?  Everything is under $30!
Can you see the disdain on my face? I hate skulls and was really disappointed to see this print top in my bag.  It was also suuuuuper tight.  This might be some peoples style, but not mine.  And it seems so off the wall!  Everything else in my bags have been so bright and cheery, and this is so dark.  Regardless, this is the Ailsa top and it retails for $17.49.
This is called the Elena romper and it retails for $29.99. So, I kept saying in all of my reviews on Nadine West that I wanted rompers and I liked off the shoulder tops.  In theory they…
