Thanksgiving Outfits!

Usually on Thanks giving I end up wearing a t-shirt and jeans because I have been cooking all day, and because it is just my family! I mean who am I trying to impress! ;)
But this year I want it to be different! I want the world to change for the better and to... wait, no no that is a different speech ;)
I want to look cute this year, is that to much to ask??

I found all of these pictures on Pinterest. If you would like to see more like them (or just really want to be nice!) you can click here to go follow me!

Dressy
So if you have to go out somewhere with your family, or are required to dress up (more that normal at least) then I thought this would be a good outfit for you!

A basic white scoop or v-neck T-shirt, a dark blue pleated skirt with a brown belt around your waist, and matching brown cutout flats. The huge tote bag and sunglasses are most definitely optional!
You are dressed up more than you normally would be, but still keeping it kind of casual with flats instead of heels.

Semi-Casual
This is my favorite, and I will probably end up wearing something close to this next week!
A jean shirt or jacket, a floral or just printed scarf, black leggings or dark skinny jeans, sweater socks with Riding Boots or Cowboy Boots, and a chunky cream colored sweater.
This outfit has many different options, and you can take it in many different directions with just a few simple changes. And no matter what you are gonna look pretty!

Casual
A basic colored T-shirt (I think burnt orange would look really fall-is and pretty!), distressed jeans, and a grey sweater and scarf.
This looks much more like what I would normally be wearing every year! ...only covered in flour and cake batter ;) In my opinion this is still a really cute idea!

All of these outfits use very basic pieces that most people easily have access to in their own closet (or maybe a mom or sister's ;) and can be changed to take them in many different directions!

Sunburn Relief

Even when you wear sunscreen, sometimes the inevitable happens and you get the dreaded sunburn... So what should you do? I have a few suggestions of the best way to be as comfortable as possible while you recover! 1.) Pain Reliever First things first, as soon as you discover your sunburn head to the medicine cabinet and take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as Ibuprofen or Advil. These are anti-inflammatory medications which will help to reduce swelling and pressure from the sunburn, which will relive  some of the pain. 2.) Hydrate The second most helpful thing you can possibly do is drink water! The sun has sucked all of the moisture from your skin, and it is literally  begging for you to replenish it. Try to drink just water, since it is better for you and more hydrating than juice or sodas. 3.) Take a Bath Try to limit yourself to no more that 30 minutes, but that thirty minutes can do wonders for your...
