A Couple of Updates...

Hello all! I am back :)
I know I have been gone for quite a while, and I will explain on Monday, but let's focus on now!
  • First, instead of doing a post every other day I am going to start posting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Which isn't a huge difference, but now that school is back and I am going to be getting a job soon and all of that growing up yucky-ness, I figured having the weekends off and set days during the week would just be good.
  • Next, I am not necessarily promoting these sites but I felt the need to mention them again! 
    • First would be a site called Influenster. It is a site where you take surveys, review products, and answer questions, and then doing all of this will bring up your score! After your score is so high, you begin to qualify for VoxBoxes which are boxes filled with all kinds of goodies! So far I have recieved one (if you would like to see what was in it click here) and it was amazing!     • Second is a site called Swagbucks. On this site you watch videos, take surveys, and read articles to earn points. After you have so many points you can redeem them for gift cards and prizes! Since the beginning of November I have recieved almost $40 in Amazon gift cards, which I think is pretty amazing! Ipsy: June

My June Ipsy bag!   Probably my least favorite part of this bag... was the actual bag.  It's quite ugly, but the products are good for the most part! This Be a Bombshell lipgloss in Secret is ok… It’s a nice brand, so I’m not mad at it, it just isn't my favorite.  I put it on and it had almost a concealer like tint instead of the pretty pinky nude in the tube.  I have used it since and if used with a lighter hand, it's ok. I love this Formula X nail polish by Sephora in Wingwoman!  It is such a nice dark pink/red color, and it didn't chip!  Do you know how hard it is to find a nail polish that doest chip on me? This Three Tone "Bronzer" by Crown Brush is ridiculous... Last Minute Present: Oven Mitt

This is a super easy (and cheap) present that someone who loves baking or cooking would adore!  I received this as a gift last year and I was so excited!  To top it all off, this present couldn't get any easier, and it could be made for under $10 but is very versatile and can be made as elaborate or simple as you want!   So the basics, you are going to need an oven mitt to put the whole present in, and then a few tools to solidify the cooking theme.  I know for a fact the mitt, as well as the tools below, came from Walmart and can be snagged super cheap. Then you need to fill it with candy and food!  In mine she added chocolate chip cookie mix, hot chocolate mix, and candy canes.  Super simple right?  And definitely something you could run to Walmart right now and put together.  Like I said before, there are many variations you could do with this present!  My mom has a wood burning tool and can burn designs into wooden...

Influenster Chapstick VoxBox

This was a fun VoxBox to be a part of!   Before these three new Chapstick flavors were released to stores, I got to give them a shot!  If you would like to try out this service where they send you products to review, you can sign up here: www.influenster.com/refferal   These Chapsticks are actually different from your everyday $1 chapstick beside the register at Walmart.  These are 100% natural lip butter "with naturally sourced ingredients, including Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Shea Butter, and Beeswax for healthier looking lips."  I was sent three flavors, Green Tea Mint, Sweet Papaya, Pink Grapefruit. By far my favorite of the three flavors was Green Tea Mint.  I didn't really get much green tea flavor, but it had a nice minty tingle.  The Sweet Papaya was good, nice and fruity.  My least favorite was the Pink Grapefruit...
