What's in My... Shower Bag

This is my Shower Bag, I just sit this whole bag in the shower whenever we go somewhere so everything is together. And then when we leave I put the whole thing into a gallon sized sandwich bag so it doesn't get anything else wet!

  • In the back of the bag if you look closely you will see that I bring a few samples. They are:
    • The Fekkai Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. This smells sooooo good and it is soooo moisturizing!
    • A Seba-Med Sensitive Skin Facial Cleanser. In case my face gets sunburned and I don't want to use one of my harsher cleansers.
    • Lastly I have a few little packs of Swimmer's Hair Treatment to mix with my conditioner. It gets all of the gunk out of your hair that could potentially turn Blond into green!
  • I bring is my little Travel Sized Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner. They are the perfect size for my trip!
  • I have the Bath and Body Works Butterfly Flower Body Wash mini
  • The St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub
  • Baby Oil, for shaving because it is more compact than shaving cream
  • I bring some VO5 Clarifying Shampoo in one of the little red jars in the front of the bag
  • Also in another one of the little red jars I have the Clean and Clear Deep Action Facial Cleanser
  • Lastly in another Little Red Jar I have the Clearasil Daily Facial Scrub
  • My Razor
  • And the very last thing I squish down on top is my  Bath Pouf

Be Mine... Kissable Lip Routine

I thought this was a kind of unique post, but also a great way to kick off Beach Babe's Be Maine Valentine's Day Series! I mean, you can't have a Valentines Day without soft kissable lips! Even if you don't have a Valentine this year, you don't want to be caught by surprise! ;) First thing i do (and the very first thing you all should do!) is start out by exfoliating your lips! Before I use a Lip Scrub, I run warm water over a washcloth, wring it out, and rub my lips with this. Next I take a lip scrub (if you would like to know what I use check out this link here, but any kind you prefer will work). I use the washcloth on my lips first so that they will be more open to absorb the benefits of the Scrub. Lastly, I apply some of the lip scrub to a clean toothbrush and use this on my lips. Grab the washcloth once again and wipe the scrub and crystals away! :) The next thing you should do in your kissable lips routine, is apply a lip balm. My favorites are the eos...

Homemade Beauty: Ice Facial

It may not sound very pleasant, but running an ice cube over your face has a ton of benefits for your skin! They will help to smooth your complexion by combating fat cells, easing wrinkles, fighting acne, and promoting blood circulation that will help heal past blemishes!  Be sure to  wrap the cubes  in a paper towel, or a baggie  because applying them directly to your skin can cause delicate blood vessels to break For an added  benefits to this  treatment, try freezing your cubes with watermelon, lemon, or rose!

Last Minute Halloween Costume: A Darling Deer

So it is Halloween, and you still haven't chosen a Halloween Costume.  Or maybe, you decided last minute to go to a party.  Regardless of the reasoning, this is a super simple costume, that is also super cute, and dirt cheap! In all reality, you could get away with spending only a $1 on this costume, the antlers.  Mine came in a two pack from the Dollar Tree. Though the makeup is a bit difficult to see, if you scroll to the bottom there is a close up.  Basically, what this consists of is your normal, everyday makeup with some polka dots and a brown nose! For the Spots... The goal is to look like a super cute newborn fawn that still has it's spots.  You can create this subtle look by using a shimmery champagne eye pencil to draw the dots, as well as a champagne eyeshadow (it can be shimmery or matte, as long as it's lighter than your skin tone) to set the spots. I placed three spots on each cheek, and three in the middle of my forehead, but ...
