I'm Back!

We got back from vacation last night at ONE A.M.!!
Needless to say, we were all pretty wiped out :P
I miss being at the beach and being on vacation, but it also feels good to be back home :)
Over the next few days I am going to be posting blogs from my vacation, so look forward to those!

Oh! And one more thing, We went and got all of our mail today from where we had been gone, and I got a VoxBox!!
I signed up for this website called "Influenster" where you take surveys and rate products, and then they will send you one of these! A VoxBox is a Box filled with things pertaining to that month's theme. Here is a little sneak peak :)

Mail Time: TheECPlannerKitLady Sticker Haul

So apparently Halloween was mail day for me!  I checked my mailbox that morning after class and found a few fun things, and then later I got a notification that a package had been delivered, so why not check again?  I found my package and another letter!  It hadn't been such a great weekend, so finding all of the fun things waiting for me on Monday perked me right up! I got three cards, one from my mom, my mom's coworker, and my grandmother!  I thought it was fun that all three had puppies. Empties Part 1: Hair and Body Products

Please don't judge the amount of products I have here! This is probably collective from the past 6 months of more, and I just did a clean out of some old products.  To make things easier I will underline the products I have repurchased or would consider buying again in the future. Hair Products These are all of the mousses I've used recently! I use a lot of mousse...  And also somehow a hairspray snuck it's way in there Got2B Kinky - Can't say I'd buy this again... I generally buy whatever is on sale because I like to try new things, but this was a bad choice.  It didn't have a good hold, and had a very different smell that I wasn't crazy over.  Not repurchasing. Herbal Essences Curl Booster - This one I liked a lot better.  The hold wasn't steller, but my hair was always very soft when I used it.  I haven't repurchased this currently, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. Sunburn Relief

Even when you wear sunscreen, sometimes the inevitable happens and you get the dreaded sunburn... So what should you do? I have a few suggestions of the best way to be as comfortable as possible while you recover! 1.) Pain Reliever First things first, as soon as you discover your sunburn head to the medicine cabinet and take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as Ibuprofen or Advil. These are anti-inflammatory medications which will help to reduce swelling and pressure from the sunburn, which will relive  some of the pain. 2.) Hydrate The second most helpful thing you can possibly do is drink water! The sun has sucked all of the moisture from your skin, and it is literally  begging for you to replenish it. Try to drink just water, since it is better for you and more hydrating than juice or sodas. 3.)
