Summertime Sweety

Sometimes posts like this can come off as bragging, but I would like to say up front that that isn't why I am doing this at all!  I like seeing what others get for Christmas, so I thought it would be fun thing to put together!  So here is what I got for Christmas, and my Birthday, and bought on Black Friday... and after Christmas.  Yeah, it's a bit excessive, but I am happy!  Also, I got a TON of clothes, but I don't have a good place to take pictures of clothing during the winter, so I'll just leave that out! I received the Maybelline Lash Like a Boss VoxBox complementary from Influenster!  I was so excited.  I have gotten lots of boxes from them at this point, but very few are ever makeup and that is one of my favorite things!   This box contained two items, the Master Precise Curvy Liquid Eyeliner, and the Colossal Big Shot Mascara. My liquid eyeliner had just dried out, so I can't tell you how excited I was about this!  I wear winged lined quite a bit, but had never been truly good at getting a good line and wing.  Apparently I just didn't have the right eyeliner because now it's the easiest thing ever!  It is a fat tool that fits well in your hand, so it is very comfortable to hold.  The tip is flat and comes to a point, it looks almost like a spade in a deck of cards.  So if you want a fat line you can turn the tip one direction, or flip it the other way for one that is skinny and precise.  Overall, this honestly couldn't be any better, I love it! I decorated my dorm prior to Thanksgiving so we would be able to have the decorations up for quite a while before going home.  My classes ended the first week in December, so there wouldn't have been a point to decorating after!  After coming home for Christmas break I simply decorated my room at home with the decorations I had at school, so I thought it would be fun to show you both! Dorm This is where all of the main decorations in the room were.  We already had the lights up so we simply hung icicles and a bow from them.  We placed clings on the window the said "Let it Snow."  On the windowsill we sat my fiberoptic tree in the middle, and then added little knick knacks all around, which you can't see well because of the weird lighting... I swear I didn't take this in a dark room, but the combination of backlighting from outside, the string lights, and the tree, it all just messed with my camera. This is a super easy (and cheap) present that someone who loves baking or cooking would adore!  I received this as a gift last year and I was so excited!  To top it all off, this present couldn't get any easier, and it could be made for under $10 but is very versatile and can be made as elaborate or simple as you want!   So the basics, you are going to need an oven mitt to put the whole present in, and then a few tools to solidify the cooking theme.  I know for a fact the mitt, as well as the tools below, came from Walmart and can be snagged super cheap. I thought I paused my box until I was back to school in February, but apparently I didn't get to it quick enough to stop the November box!  Oh well, it was another cute fall themed box! This is the Triple Berry Smoothie.  It contains  mini strawberries, blueberries, cranberries and "chewy banana coins."  Personally, I think this sounds amazing!  This has all of the dried fruit that I like in the other snacks, minus the nuts and stuff that I don't like as much! I am really beginning to love Graze's flapjacks!  I've tried the honeycomb, which is my favorite, the pumpkin spice, and now the Cocoa and Vanilla Protein flapjack!  This is probably my least favorite of the three, but it was still really good!  It had a nice chocolaty flavor, but not too intense, and it was very filling.
