Nadine West: Second Shipment

This was my second shipment of Nadine West, which is a styling service which sends you clothing and accessories for about $10 a month (or every two weeks if you prefer).  You have about a week to a week and a half to try on the cloths and decide if you like them enough to keep them, and if you do the price you paid for shipping is subtracted from the total cost of the items you elect to keep!  What make it even better?  Everything is under $30!

Can you see the disdain on my face? I hate skulls and was really disappointed to see this print top in my bag.  It was also suuuuuper tight.  This might be some peoples style, but not mine.  And it seems so off the wall!  Everything else in my bags have been so bright and cheery, and this is so dark.  Regardless, this is the Ailsa top and it retails for $17.49.

This is called the Elena romper and it retails for $29.99. So, I kept saying in all of my reviews on Nadine West that I wanted rompers and I liked off the shoulder tops.  In theory they found me the perfect one because it is both!  But sadly, it is also the EXACT same print as the dress I kept from my last shipment.  I didn't really want two clothing items this similar, so I was forced to send this one back. (Oh, and sorry about the lighting!)

This is the Summer Mornings dress and it retails for $29.99.  I was so excited when I pulled this out of the bag, I loved the print!  But then I put it on... I get the whole baggy style that is in currently, and I can get behind it, but this was huge!  It came too low in the back to work, but not low enough to justify a bralette.  And do you see the way the armholes gape?  I wasn't too excited about that...

These are the Morning Dew Sparkle Drop Earrings and they retail for $9.99.  I think they look like coral and were kinda cute, so I kept them to justify what I paid for the shipping of this bag, but I wouldn't necessarily have bought them if I'd seen them in a store somewhere.

And I forgot to take a picture of this necklace close up, but you can see it in some of the outfit pictures above!  This is the Morning Dew Sparkle Necklace, which goes with the earrings, and it retails for $18.99.  I thought this was a really pretty necklace, and the price wasn't awful, but I just didn't really want to shell out extra money this month, so I sent it back.

If you can't tell, I was wasn't nearly as enthralled with this shipment as I was the last one.  Even the things that stood out to me, such as the romper and dress, fit weird or had something holding me back from keeping them.  Oh well, I figure I will keep it for a bit longer and see how it goes!

Sunburn Relief

Even when you wear sunscreen, sometimes the inevitable happens and you get the dreaded sunburn... So what should you do? I have a few suggestions of the best way to be as comfortable as possible while you recover! 1.) Pain Reliever First things first, as soon as you discover your sunburn head to the medicine cabinet and take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as Ibuprofen or Advil. These are anti-inflammatory medications which will help to reduce swelling and pressure from the sunburn, which will relive  some of the pain. 2.) Hydrate The second most helpful thing you can possibly do is drink water! The sun has sucked all of the moisture from your skin, and it is literally  begging for you to replenish it. Try to drink just water, since it is better for you and more hydrating than juice or sodas. 3.) Take a Bath Try to limit yourself to no more that 30 minutes, but that thirty minutes can do wonders for your...
