Happy Thanksgiving!

I know this post is a little later than it would usually be, but I just wanted to tell you all how thankful I am for you. My blog has grown by leaps and bounds recently, and all of the credit goes to you all! I am so thankful for the opportunity to write and create, and share it with you.

I am also very thankful for the friends and family I was blessed enough to have spent time with when we celebrated yesterday. We had some of the most people for dinner we'd had in years, and our house was overflowing with love, food, and thankfulness to be there together.

I am thankful for my friends who I did not spend Thanksgiving with, as well friends who have been gone to college and returned safely for the Holiday.

I am incredibly thankful for the amazing boyfriend I have had for two years now. He has been such a blessing in my life, and I hope I have the chance to spend many more years with him!

More than anything I am thankful for God, my salvation, and all that he has blessed me with. This has not been an easy few months for my family, and we could not have made it without his help. I thank him for allowing my grandfather to survive the massive heart attack he had. I thank him for keeping my grandmother and dad safe during their time in the hospital. I thank him for helping me adjust to Community College and giving me a better attitude about it. Most of all I thank him for working within those around me who need him more than anything.

Finally, I would like to wish you all a happy and blessed Thanksgiving! I pray you have ample amounts of food and love in each of your houses on this day, and remember how blessed you are to be here in this world God created for us!

Fragrant Jewels: Shipment One

So I decided to try a new Subscription Box... Remember when that was all I did?? I'm sure most of you have heard of the company Fragrant Jewels. They create candles, bath bombs, and other fun products, all with rings hidden inside! The first box I received was a present for a friend, and I liked hers so much I decided to try it out as well! I really wanted a candle though, and sadly this box didn't contain one. But regardless, this is the Sweet Retreat collection. The scent is described as "Cool Marine Breeze, Fresh Lavender, and Soothing Chamomile." It is a bit to floral and fragrant to be especially soothing, but it is very nice and bright for spring. The first item in the box were mini bath bombs. I actually prefer this size of bath bombs to the big ones! I was, however, afraid that since they were mini that this product wouldn't come with a ring, which kind of defeats the purpose of Fragrant "Jewels" doesn't it? But no worries

Nadine West: Fourth Shipment

So this wasn't the most successful shipment ever, but I still got one nice piece out of it! And they left me a sweet surprise which I'll tell you about at the end, so I wasn't upset at all! This is actually two items from my shipment! This outfit contains both the shirt and leggings from this month, and they kind of go together! Though I really liked the pattern of the leggings, they are much more like tights. They were totally see through, which made me pretty sad. If they were marketed as tights then I wouldn't be too disappointed, but these were called Leggings. They retailed for $14.49, and I didn't keep them. The shirt fit very well and was extremely comfy. I have been looking for a shirt this color, so I was pretty excited to see it in my bag, even though it is pretty basic. This shirt also retailed for $14.49, and I did elect to keep it! I got another VoxBox from Influenster! This is a company that sends complementary products to a group of people in exchange for reviews and posts about them. I loooove dry shampoo and use it on the daily, but personally, I am very loyal to Batiste brand. I have tried a couple others and not really been impressed, but Not Your Mother's is usually a very nice brand, so I was super excited to give this a shot. This retails for about $9.
