Ipsy October

First of all, the bag for October? Super cute.
I mean, they have all been adorable, but this would be such a cute pop of color kind of clutch!


As far as the bag goes, it wasn’t my favorite, but I liked it!

The first thing I pulled out of the bag, also the least impressive and most expensive, were the tweezers.  They are from a company centered in another country, and with the exchange rate equaled out to about $20! 
I don’t generally pluck my eyebrows, and the tweezers I had weren’t great.  So though they aren’t my favorite thing I’ve ever gotten, it is a really nice product which I will put to use!

The next thing I got, which I was super excited to see, was an It Cosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara!
This is the first really nice makeup item I've received, and I am loving it! Just a couple of coats and your lashes are super long and dark.

I also received this Eve-NYC Hair Mask.  This is like a very thick conditioner, and smells faintly sweet, a bit like candy and vanilla.  It was a nice hair mask, but I wouldn't run out to repurchase it.

One of the things I have used the most and been the most excited about is the Peter Lamas Pumpkin Facial Scrub.  I swear, I could eat this stuff!  It smells so amazing.  It's not as course of a scrub as the St Ives Apricot scrub (my favorite), but it has been a fun little treat for the fall!

The final thing, which I have been using nonstop, is The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Committed.  This is the perfect your lips but better fall color, and I've really been loving it!  It is a mini sample size, so though that means there is less product, it is the perfect size to just stick in my wallet and go!

Overall, it was a really good bag!

Disney 2016: Day 8

1:15 p.m. Good evening girls! We have had a late morning, and are currently on our way to Disney Springs! We woke up around 9:30 and have just hung around our hotel and done some laundry since then, it's been nice not to do much! Today I am wearing a Jessica Simpson romper from Dillard's, my Sanuks, my FitBit, my new Alex and Ani Disney bracelet (!!!), my gold earrings from Maurice's, and my hair is scrunched! My dad bought me an Alex and Ani in Magic Kingdom, it says "A Dream is a Wish your Heart makes."  It is so cute, I love it! 2:30 p.m. Just finished lunch at Earl of Sandwich! I had a chipotle chicken avocado sandwich, and even though the restaurant was crazy crowded, the food was actually pretty good! 7:00 p.m. I just had a spiritual experience... Because I just tried my first ever Sprinkles Cupcake! It had toasted marshmallow frosting, and I could have eaten four more.  They were so good!! They even had a cupcake ATM outsi...

Fragrant Jewels: Shipment One

So I decided to try a new Subscription Box... Remember when that was all I did??  I'm sure most of you have heard of the company Fragrant Jewels.  They create candles, bath bombs, and other fun products, all with rings hidden inside! The first box I received was a present for a friend, and I liked hers so much I decided to try it out as well!  I really wanted a candle though, and sadly this box didn't contain one.  But regardless, this is the Sweet Retreat collection.  The scent is described as "Cool Marine Breeze, Fresh Lavender, and Soothing Chamomile."  It is a bit to floral and fragrant to be especially soothing, but it is very nice and bright for spring. The first item in the box were mini bath bombs.  I actually prefer this size of bath bombs to the big ones!  I was, however, afraid that since they were mini that this product wouldn't come with a ring, which kind of defeats the purpose of Fragrant "Jewels" doesn't it?  But no...

2018 Recap Part One (January-July)

So I took a year off!  2018 was a crazy year, and a lot has happened, so I thought it might be fun to do a recap of all of the fun, unexpected, and just crazy things that happened in 2018! January I started the year off by having coffee and lunch with my favorite girl at my favorite coffee shop! (She is also the photographer of the picture shown above.) The majority of the rest of January was spent trying to figure out my life... I made some big changes relationship wise by ending an almost five year relationship I was reluctant to let go of, but it ended up being a wonderful decision that has allowed me to grow in so many ways since.  Sometimes life has growing pains. Oh, I also turned 21 the month before, so there were a lot of other (now legal) activities going on in my life to help the healing process! February And in February a wonderful new man came into my life!  He was my roommate's best friend, so he had been around a lot, but sudden...
