Homemade Beauty: Pumpkin Spice Face Mask

It is that time of year again where the basic white girls are going crazy over Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte...

I'm not a coffee person.

Or an overpriced Starbucks person.

Or usually a pumpkin person!

So why did I feel the need to post this?
Because I have finally gotten into the fall mood, and I am going to be having one of these professionally done at a Spa this Friday!
Plus, why not??

So let's start by prepping your face for the facial by using a super simple...

Brown Sugar Face Scrub
Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
Mix together and apply to the face rubbing in circular motions.  The brown sugar will act as an exfoliant, clearing and opening your pores, while the olive oil works as a natural moisturizer.

Pumpkin Spice Face Mask
Ingredients
  • 1 Teaspoon pure Pumpkin puree (with no added ingredients)
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
Apply to face and relax for 5 to 15 minutes.  Pumpkin contains vitamins A, C, and E which will help to gently relieve your skin of dead skin cells.  The honey seals in moisture while also fighting off acne with it's antibacterial properties, while the cinnamon clarifies the pores.  Other optional ingredients include: A splash of Apple Cider Vinegar which will work as an astringent for oily skin, or Greek Yogurt for the hydrating properties of the lactic acid.

Ipsy: June

So guys... I resubscribed to Ipsy!  Since I was back to having a summer job I figured I could spare $10 a month!  And so far, this bag wasn't the best, but I updated my profile so it will take a minute for them to readapt. The bag this month though... It is on my swap site on MySubscriptionAddiction if you want it!  Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. This is the Kokie nail polish in the color Gone Rio.  I hadn't ever heard of this brand before, but the packaging is adorable!  Apparently you can buy it at Walmart for around $5.  The color is a really nice orange-y coral and it has a decent lasting power considering how rough I am on my nails!  Overall I liked it and I would buy from this brand again. This is the City Color Shimmer Shadow in the color Cheers to Life.  It is a pretty basic sandy brown with a ton of shimmer, obviously!  City Color isn't my favorite brand to get because it is fairly cheap and the products are ki...

Spring Break 2016

Well I just finished an extremely short Spring Break... I was only given two days last week! Isn't that sad?  But hey, I had the most of it! I started out Spring Break (on Wednesday night) with a bonfire for my friend's birthday!  We have the perfect bonfire spot beside a river, and in the river lives otters!  It was too dark to see them that night, but they are my favorite animal, and I am looking foreward to many Summer bonfires with our otter friends!  I have never really been into the whole eno hammock thing, but my friend brought a double so I though, why not??  It was surprisingly comfortable, and we had a lot of fun celebrating her birthday together! But now the main event of Spring Break... On Thursday Maze (my boyfriend) and I went to a Flogging Molly concert in Charlotte!   But first I made him take me to South Park Mall, because it looked insane!!  And it was, though it took longer to get to Charlotte than we thought it wo...

Personally, I love the little Bath Fizzes you can buy, they are just so much fun!! How fun would it Be to be able to make you own! Tools and Materials Baking soda Cornstarch Citric acid Spritzer bottles Food coloring Glass bowl Essential oil Baking molds How-To: 1. Sift 1 3/4 cup baking soda, 1 cup citric acid, and 2 cups cornstarch through a sieve to remove all of the chunks. To make different colors, fill small spritzer bottles with water and add about 6 drops of food coloring to each.  2. Pour 1 cup of the powdered mixture into a bowl. Lightly spray, stirring after each spritz, until powder is your desired color. Next, add water slowly, so mixture does not fizz. Check the consistency of powder with your fingers; when it can be tightly packed or shaped like sand, stop adding water (this may take a little while). 3. Select an essential oil. Add 5 drops if it's one of the stronger scents (peppermint or lavender), and 6 if it's a weaker one (lemon or grapefr...
