Ipsy: March Throwback

First of all, this is one of the cuuuutest bag I've gotten in a while!
This bag was probably about 50/50 on how I liked the actual products I received, but keep reading for a cool surprise in the end!

This is the NYX Liquid Suede lipstick and I really enjoyed it! I was wary of this color when I first pulled it out, but after putting it on I found out that it was really pretty!!  It dries very matte, and lasts quite a while. 

This is a really pretty eyeshadow, it is the brand Manna Kadar in the color Fantasy.  It is a pretty basic color and the packaging is kind of cheap, but it is a nice full size, so I'm not mad at it!

I never wear my hair straight three days in a row... This is a nice product from Marc Anthony again, and it smells good, it just isn't something I will use often.

This is the Pixie blush and highlighter duo in rose gold, and it was sooooo pretty!  And then it fell off my sink and instantly broke on the edge.  And then it happened again and completely shattered.  I can't tell you how upset I am because it was gorgeous, but just way way too soft...

Another nice eyechadow brush, this time from Beau Gachis, that I actually used with the highlighter in this bag, until I broke it that is...

So if you review your products after receiving them from Ipsy, you get points!  With these points you can then "buy" different products and essentially get bonus products for free!  In this bag I used up my points to get a Beaute Basics eyeshadow pencil in Sahara Gold, a Selfie 2 hour self tanner, and the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water!  The Primer Water was by far my favorite out of these products, and it can be used as a primer or finishing spray, which is how I used it.

I started a new subscription box! You may remember me reviewing this box once before, early last year, and I liked it then but wasn't willing to pay that much for it.  I recently found a $20 voucher on Groupon for a four month  subscription with 8 snacks each.  I did the math, and I thought it was a pretty good deal, so why not give it another shot! This is technically the September box, so I'm a bit behind, but I felt it was worth sharing anyway! This Peachy Orchard is full of dried fruit like rhubarb and pear, with "peach drops." It seems like an interesting combination! Walmart Beauty Box: Fall

I fully intended to get this up on Saturday, as per usual, especially considering finals are over and I am now I break (!!!), but when I went to start writing Friday night the internet was out!  I go to Appalachian State University, with the possibility of 18,000 students being on the internet at any given moment and it works fine... I come home to a house of four people and it immediately crashes.  But regardless, I wanted to try to get this post up anyway just for the fun of it!  (And because I am a bored college student with no job and nothing to do for the next month and a half so... hit me up!) This is the fall edition of the Walmart Beauty Box, which is a $5 quarterly subscription.   These can kind of be hit or miss, but because they are only $20 spread out over a year and a nice little surprise when they show up, I keep it anyway.  This one was actually pretty decent! Love With Food: June

This is one of my last ever Love With Food boxes... Which is really sad because I've loved this subscription! This was a good box to begin the end on though! Of the protein bars I've tried, this has been the best one.  I like the flavor of the peanut butter and sea salt, but the dry mushy consistency just bothers me from all protein bars.  Also, I don't feel like I need 15g of protein in the mornings, thats a lot! Cookies!  I love cookies! This traditional teatime Shortbread cookie was a nice little treat to have, especially since I have just recently started drinking coffee and tea! This You Love Fruit Mango fruit leather was a really interesting product to be included in this box!  I like that it was a sweet, yet still pretty healthy option! There wasn't exactly anything special about this Sinfully Thin Blue Corn Popcorn, but that's not to say it was bad!  I finished the whole bag and thought it was a nice snack to include. Hummus ...
