What I've Been Up to This Month: March, April and May

I have been pretty absent lately as I finished up the school year, namely my first year of college!

My classes ended last week on May 3rd, and I lucked out and didn't have to take any finals this semester!  I did have final project week though... During that week I wrote over 40 pages worth of term papers, took two tests, and completed a final project in which I had to present a powerpoint for 10 minutes.  It was a rough week, but it was all worth it, because I made all A's yet again this semester!

I finished up my freshman year only lacking two classes in completing my Associates Degree.  I'm going to take these two online this Summer, and enter Appalachian University in the fall as a Junior so I may begin taking classes within my major!
So this was my friend and I who goes to Appalachian, on the day I went there to discuss transferring.  It was a hard day, so we decided we needed some ice cream!

As a reward for graduating, the community college which I was attending took us on a free trip to the Biltmore House!

And I truly love where I live...

So what is coming up then?
For the blog, I have three months of Food boxes and Ipsy bags to catch up on, a two part empty products review, and hopefully a packing post to accompany my up and coming surprise trip to the beach!
For me, I am going to be working full time during my last summer at the daycare, taking two summer classes, and attending Appalachian's orientation... But I will also be taking a beach trip with my boyfriend's family at the end of this month, a trip with my friend in July, and will be leaving for Disney in 78 days!  This is going to be a busy summer and I am going to have to work hard to get done all that needs to be done before college, but these difficult times will be broken up by periods of much needed time spent with family and friends!
So I am pretty excited! Are you?

My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website....

Ipsy: May

Look How cute this bag is!  It is an envelope style with a button closure and different landmarks covering it. In this bag I really enjoyed three, was pretty apathetic about one, and HATED the last one...  But this is my third to last bag before I cancel the subscription and head off to college, so I'm trying to make the most of them! This is the eva-nyc Hungry Hair Oil treatment.  Hair oil isn't really my thing, but this smells nice and will be nice for traveling, so I'm pretty apathetic about it. I have absolutely been loving this Jelly Pong Pong blush and bronzer duo!  The bronzer is the perfect shade for my fair skin tone, and the blush is a nice coral color for summer and I have been enjoying it as well.  I truthfully wasn't too excited about this brand, but I was nicely surprised! I am so upset about this that I refuse to even try it... It is a sparkly bubblegum pink that looks like something I would have loved in middle school. ...
