Homemade Beauty... Self Tanner

In need of a tan and don't have the time to get one?

You check your beauty cabinet and are out of Self-tanner as well...

So what now??

Mix your favorite powdered bronzer with you moisturizer for a temporary self-tan. It won't stain your skin like a self-tanner, and will wash off in water, but it works for a quick fix!

Bonus?

Mix a drop of body oil or olive oil with moisturizer for an all-over shimmer. Or maybe even add some loose glitter for shimmer and sparkle :)

Girls Night In!

Time to unwind with a girls night! If you are like me and my adorable roomie, you just completed a week of mind numbing midterms and you need to unwind. Priority number one is getting into the comfiest possible clothes that you own, bonus points if you have super cute matching pjs unlike me... My top pick is my boyfriends flannel (which is huge on me! <3) and leggings with fuzzy socks. Influenster Spirit VoxBox

I know I've been pretty absent the past month or two and this isn't one of my usual post days, but I wanted to go ahead and let you all know that I got another VoxBox!! This one was the Spirit VoxBox. I'm not entirely sure the significance of the theme of this box, but it had some cute and interesting new products This was the NYC Lovatics Lip and Cheek tint, and is apparently a collaboration from Demi Lovato. This is supposed to be similar product to the Benefit Benetint product! I've tried it, and I can vouch for the fact that it is definitely a STAIN, so don't mess up, and if you use your fingers to spread it then beware! It isn't drying at all, though it does tend to cling to the drier places on your lips. The color is a bright pink and lasts the entire day, if not longer! And that is no exaggeration... I can't say I'm a huge fan of it as a cheek stain, but I am still working on figuring out how to apply it the correct way. The...

This type of post is a bit out of the ordinary for me... You all know I am obsessed with subscription boxes, but this one is a man's subscription box! I have seen this type of box before and thought they looked interesting, but expensive and a bit feminine. This one was neither of those things. It is normally $28, which is more than I like to pay for a box, but they were doing a promotion for your first box for $8! I thought, why not? I can either give it to my boyfriend or my day, everyone wins!
