Emergency Kit For Girls

So we have all had that moment where the zipper on your jeans break, or the back of your earring falls, off but of course you have nothing to fix this problem, so what do you do? I have created my very own emergency kit that covers all of the things I could think of that I would need!

Here is the little bag I fit it all in...

Safety Pins in case a strap breaks

Earring Backs in case you lose one

Small Hairbands/Rubber Bands

Bobby Pins

I pack them like this in this little bag for easy access

An extra contact in case one falls out or rips (If applicable)

Oil Blotting Sheets

Once again, easy access

A few dollers

Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, any legal over the counter pain reliever

Band-aids for cuts and Blisters

A pad or tampon in case of a "surprise"

Chapstick or Lipgloss

A nail file and a small bottle of clear fingernail polish for a quick fix on cuts or nails

Hair-bows

...and finally, a mirror

Put this little bag in your purse or backpack so you will always have it if you need anything in it!

Disney 2014: Days 6-7

It is officially one month until I leave for Disney! So in honor of that I thought I would do as I did in my original Disney Announcement and give you a sneak peek into my trip from last year in preparation for this one! Disney 2014: Day 6 9:15 a.m. Magic Kingdom is hard to get into... so we just now got in. You have to take a tram from the parking lot, a boat from the ticket center, and then go through the bag check! It is a solid 30 minute process! This morning for breakfast I has one Hot Fudge Sundae pop-tart, and one Strawberry (me and Elijah traded!) Today I am wearing pink mesh Danskin shorts with a black Mickey Mouse tank-top, sequin Minnie Mouse ears, Tiva sandals, and my Magic band, with a Tinker Bell bun! 10:50 a.m. This morning so far we have ridden Space Mountain, Goofy's Barnstormer, Dumbo... and The Little Mermaid! Be Mine... Kissable Lip Routine

I thought this was a kind of unique post, but also a great way to kick off Beach Babe's Be Maine Valentine's Day Series! I mean, you can't have a Valentines Day without soft kissable lips! Even if you don't have a Valentine this year, you don't want to be caught by surprise! ;) First thing i do (and the very first thing you all should do!) is start out by exfoliating your lips! Before I use a Lip Scrub, I run warm water over a washcloth, wring it out, and rub my lips with this. Next I take a lip scrub (if you would like to know what I use check out this link here, but any kind you prefer will work). I use the washcloth on my lips first so that they will be more open to absorb the benefits of the Scrub. Lastly, I apply some of the lip scrub to a clean toothbrush and use this on my lips. College Countdown: College Rambles

So… I move in tomorrow. We have been in Disney for almost two weeks, and I never thought I’d be ready to leave Disney but I actually really was. It is Thursday morning right now, and we won’t be home until late tonight. After that I have a ton of packing left to do, along with visiting grandparents. My move in time is between1:00 and 4:00… though I am beginning to highly doubt that I’ll actually make that time! To tell the truth, I wasn’t the least bit sad until the song “I Loved Her First” by Heartland just came on the radio. It was talking about a dad giving his daughter away at her wedding, but how a small part of her will always be his. I am in the car with my mom, dad, and brother, and my mom and I both just started crying… It was so sad! Other than that, I am basically just over the moon excited!
