Emergency Kit For Girls

So we have all had that moment where the zipper on your jeans break, or the back of your earring falls, off but of course you have nothing to fix this problem, so what do you do? I have created my very own emergency kit that covers all of the things I could think of that I would need!

Here is the little bag I fit it all in...

Safety Pins in case a strap breaks

Earring Backs in case you lose one

Small Hairbands/Rubber Bands

Bobby Pins

I pack them like this in this little bag for easy access

An extra contact in case one falls out or rips (If applicable)

Oil Blotting Sheets

Once again, easy access

A few dollers

Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, any legal over the counter pain reliever

Band-aids for cuts and Blisters

A pad or tampon in case of a "surprise"

Chapstick or Lipgloss

A nail file and a small bottle of clear fingernail polish for a quick fix on cuts or nails

Hair-bows

...and finally, a mirror

Put this little bag in your purse or backpack so you will always have it if you need anything in it!

College Countdown: Second Year Recap

So at the beginning of this year I did my " College Countdown " series, and they quickly became some of the most popular posts on this blog to date! I just finished my second year of college, first year actually away at a university, and I thought it would be nice to bring that series to a final close with a recap of how my year at Appalachian State University went! Overall this past year just seems like a dream. As I walked through the common areas of the school and saw people playing frisbee, walking dogs, enoing, tightlining, and trying to spread their opinions to the masses it was like watching a scene out of a movie. Black Friday Haul!

When I came home from Black Friday shopping, it made me sick to think about how much I had spent... And then I organized what I had bought into piles, I actually hadn't bought that much for myself! I had bought quite a few presents for people, and my family had me buying things for them since they weren't going shopping. So I will even be paid back part of what I spent! Maybe if I keep rationalizing it, I will start to actually believe it... Walmart Fuzzy Socks - These are literally my favorite things ever, they are so soft! These were about $5 Two Disney Story Books - I got a Bedtime stories book and a Christmas stories book, these were $6 each and I am going to save them for my kids of day to go with the set I already have!
