Emergency Kit For Girls

So we have all had that moment where the zipper on your jeans break, or the back of your earring falls, off but of course you have nothing to fix this problem, so what do you do? I have created my very own emergency kit that covers all of the things I could think of that I would need!

Here is the little bag I fit it all in...

Safety Pins in case a strap breaks

Earring Backs in case you lose one

Small Hairbands/Rubber Bands

Bobby Pins

I pack them like this in this little bag for easy access

An extra contact in case one falls out or rips (If applicable)

Oil Blotting Sheets

Once again, easy access

A few dollers

Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Advil, any legal over the counter pain reliever

Band-aids for cuts and Blisters

A pad or tampon in case of a "surprise"

Chapstick or Lipgloss

A nail file and a small bottle of clear fingernail polish for a quick fix on cuts or nails

Hair-bows

...and finally, a mirror

Put this little bag in your purse or backpack so you will always have it if you need anything in it!

Review: Etsy Planner Stickers!

I decided back at the beginning of November to reach out to a few Etsy planner sticker shops in hopes that they would like to partner up with me for a review! There were a few shops that truly stood out to me, which sent me stickers, and I have been truly enjoying using them! Though the shops did send me these stickers for free, the opinions are completely my own. Lilly Top This sticker package was from Lilly Top. She sent me five full sheets (from left to right): The New Year Party stickers , Spring stickers , Build a Tree Christmas stickers , Heart Check Marks in Solid Colors , and the Notebook Stickers with words . She also sent me her small winter sampler with a ton of cute Christmas-y designs, and a small two sticker sample of more of the notebooks. Overall, I have really enjoyed her stickers! St. Ives Influenster VoxBox

Good news, I received another Influenster VoxBox!! This was a Holiday campaign following New Years, and was sponsored by St. Ives. Now as always, I did receive these products for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are completely my own! Oatmeal Scrub and Mask If you are used to their ever popular Apricot Scrub, this is quite a different experience. Where the Apricot Scrub has large abrasive pieces, the Oatmeal Scrub has smaller and gentler pieces, but significantly more of them. This also has a much thicker and stickier consistency, with a smell that is reminiscent of sunscreen. The way I chose to use this was as a mask. I applied a generous amount to my face, rubbing in circular motions, making sure it was fully scrubbed and evenly covered. The bottle recommends letting it soak in for 5-7 minutes. After the lime elapsed, I put some water on my fingers and rewet the mask, scrubbing in circular motions once again, and then rinsed! ...

Let's Talk...

I feel so bad, I have been such a flake with posting recently and the past month is when I should have been really focused on getting out content, because.... My summer classes started this week. And they are intense. Like, more so than I expected and I'm only a week in. Also, I just got my Summer schedule for the daycare I work at, and instead of my normal 9:30-5:30, I was switched to 6:00-12:30 ... That is a huge difference, I've never gotten up that early in my life! It is a lot better in some ways because I now have my full days free, but it's a difficult sleep schedule to get used to. As a result, I've been spending my mornings at work, and my evenings doing homework, or attempting to have a social life... This is my last Summer before college after all, so I want to have fun! But it just makes things more difficult when I need to be in bed early for work, balance homework, and then there is this blog. I love having this...
