Hauls Upon Hauls: Part 1, Christmas!

This is going to be a three part Haul series detailing everything I have received or bought from my Birthday on December 15th to just lately!

From Co-Workers
  • Beautiful Day Lotion from Bath and Body Works

  • Candle from Walmart - I had actually looked at buying this, so I am happy I got it!
  • Snowman socks from Walmart and Earwarmers from Walmart both of which aren't pictured only because I couldn't find them... but I do like them!


From Maze (boyfriend :)
  • Two Minion Cups - I love minis, but I am still a little baffled as to why I needed two… ;)

  • Tinkerbell Sticker - You can’t really see it well, but I promise it is cute!
  • Frozen patterned Heating pad - His mom got this for me, and he is still completely baffled as to why this was my favorite present from him! ;)

  • Camera Set - I wasn’t so sure what i though about this at first to tell the truth. It seemed like a really nice camera that came with a bag and everything, but I hadn’t asked for one, and when I take pictures I usually just use Mom’s amazing camera! So I had really considered returning it, and putting the money towards a new laptop for college, but i decided to try it out first.  I took it to a Carolina Basketball game, and then am using it now, but I’m still not completely settled on it! What do you all think?

  • Message/NIV Bible - I know a lot of people don’t agree with different translations of the Bible, and even after specifically picking this one out and reading in it I’m still not sure I do! But as a study tool, it is the most useful thing I have ever had!

  • Home Free CD - If you have never heard of them you need to go find them!! They are an all men, country a cappella group! (Not pictured because it is in my car and it is snowing outside at the moment! :O)

Review: Etsy Planner Stickers!

I decided back at the beginning of November to reach out to a few Etsy planner sticker shops in hopes that they would like to partner up with me for a review!  There were a few shops that truly stood out to me, which sent me stickers, and I have been truly enjoying using them!  Though the shops did send me these stickers for free, the opinions are completely my own. Lilly Top This sticker package was from Lilly Top.  She sent me five full sheets (from left to right): The New Year Party stickers , Spring stickers , Build a Tree Christmas stickers , Heart Check Marks in Solid Colors , and the Notebook Stickers with words .  She also sent me her small winter sampler with a ton of cute Christmas-y designs, and a small two sticker sample of more of the notebooks.  Overall, I have really enjoyed her stickers!  They have a nice matte look, so they are easy to write on.  I also noticed that if you are willing to pay a bit more, she will make certain s...

St. Ives Influenster VoxBox

Good news, I received another Influenster VoxBox!! This was a Holiday campaign following New Years, and was sponsored by St. Ives.  Now as always, I did receive these products for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are completely my own! Oatmeal Scrub and Mask If you are used to their ever popular Apricot Scrub, this is quite a different experience.  Where the Apricot Scrub has large abrasive pieces, the Oatmeal Scrub has smaller and gentler pieces, but significantly more of them.  This also has a much thicker and stickier consistency, with a smell that is reminiscent of sunscreen.  The way I chose to use this was as a mask.  I applied a generous amount to my face, rubbing in circular motions, making sure it was fully scrubbed and evenly covered.  The bottle recommends letting it soak in for 5-7 minutes.  After the lime elapsed, I put some water on my fingers and rewet the mask, scrubbing in circular motions once again, and then rinsed! ...

Let's Talk...

I feel so bad, I have been such a flake with posting recently and the past month is when I should have been really focused on getting out content, because.... My summer classes started this week. And they are intense. Like, more so than I expected and I'm only a week in. Also, I just got my Summer schedule for the daycare I work at, and instead of my normal 9:30-5:30, I was switched to  6:00-12:30 ...  That is a huge difference, I've never gotten up that early in my life!  It is a lot better in some ways because I now have my full days free, but it's a difficult sleep schedule to get used to.   As a result, I've been spending my mornings at work, and my evenings doing homework, or attempting to have a social life...  This is my last Summer before college after all, so I want to have fun!  But it just makes things more difficult when I need to be in bed early for work, balance homework, and then there is this blog. I love having this...
