My Best Friend (now boyfriend ;) gave them to me for Christmas a few years ago :) I wear them almost everyday <3

Apartment Tour + Fall Decor!

It's coming a bit late, because by this point I have Christmas decor up, but why not?  It isn't December yet, and I loved my fall decor and wanted to show it off! Entrance and "Dining Room" We did our best to section off the living room/dining room/kitchen area so it had a house feel that trashy college apartment.  We also tried to add all the things we could to make it feel more bright and homey since only one piece of furniture in here is actually ours!  The rest was provided for us. So for the dining are my roommate who replaced her desk chair with a comfy version brought out her chair so we could have 5 seats.  We then added cute placemats which stay out year round For fall decor I added the glittery leaf centerpiece and a few candles, as well as the wine bottles! My Petal Club

A new box!  And a PERIOD subscription box at that!  I love finding new boxes to try out, especially when they are this affordable!  This box is normally $6.99 per month, but if you use the discount code "SUMMER" on mypetalclub.com , this box will be only $3.50!  And let's be honest, one box of pads/tampons is usually more expensive than that, so why not give it a try?? So this box primarily consists of just the period products with very few extras.  This isn't one of the present, feel-good kind of boxes, it just provides you with the necessary products to get through the month, at an affordable price. Step One The first thing you do on their website is choose the combination of products you will need.  Be warned, you aren't given as much of a selection if you order through Cratejoy like I did.  It worked totally fine and I still got the products I needed, but I like choice!  So I suggest going straight through their website....

Degusta Box: October

I hadn't ever heard of this subscription box until I received an email about a promotion they were having.  This is a $19.99 subscription box, but they were offering a special discount for $6.99 plus two free gifts!  I figured, why not give it a try? It came in a HUGE heavy box!  Inside it was wrapped with a cute little sticker, and everything even moderately breakable was packaged in bubble wrap.  I was immediately impressed.   I thought I'd show the two sweet little extra gifts they sent me first... You can't tell as much in this picture, but this is a quite large bag of mini cow tales!  They also sent me a bag of Haribo sour gummy bears.  I am not a big Haribo fan, but these seem similar to Sour Patch Kids, which I love, so maybe they will be good!  I can't really complain too much anyway since they were a free gift with the box!  And candy!
